Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a levadura novedosa. Más específicamente, presente invención se refiere a una levadura novedosa enriquecida en Vitamina D. En un aspecto, la invención comprende una levadura que conserva su poder de gasificación después de irradiación UV y que puede utilizarse para producir panes y otros productos horneados con niveles significativos de vitamina D, en particular Vitamina D2. La invención se refiere también a un método para producir una levadura novedosa enriquecida en vitamina D2 así como métodos para utilizar la levadura novedosa de la presente invención.
