Abstract

Un método y un dispositivo para envolver una confitura (P) en una envoltura moldeada, elaborada con un material en láminas (1, 2), que tiene una porción en forma de copa (1c, 2c) (copa plisada) obtenida a partir del mismo material en láminas que la envoltura del producto; el método y el dispositivo comprenden el uso de un mandril con pétalos (14a, 14b), que contribuye con una cavidad de conformación (11) y que puede adquirir una configuración retraída de manera de que el mismo pueda penetrar en la cavidad de conformación para moldear la envoltura con forma de copa, que se adhiera al producto; el envoltorio se identifica porque la envoltura tiene una región central (2a) sobre la cual sostiene al producto y desde la cual la copa se extiende con una dimensión transversal (o diámetro) más pequeña que la dimensión transversal máxima del producto envuelto.
