Abstract

Un aparato de medición para la enumeración de partículas o glóbulos blancos en una muestra comprende: un soporte, el cual está dispuesto para recibir un dispositivo de adquisición de muestra que soporta una muestra, un sistema de formación de imágenes, que comprende medios de amplificación y por lo menos un medio de adquisición de imágenes digitales, dicho sistema de formación de imágenes está dispuesto para adquirir al menos una imagen digital de la muestra, y un analizador de imágenes, el cual está dispuesto para analizar la imagen digital para identificar partículas o glóbulos blancos y determinar el número de partículas o glóbulos blancos y que está dispuesto para analizar la imagen digital para identificar partículas o glóbulos blancos que están formados en imágenes enfocadas, determinar tipos de estas partículas o glóbulos blancos, distinguiéndose los tipos por características físicas y determinar la relación de diferentes tipos de partículas o glóbulos blancos.
