Abstract

Se presenta un lente oftálmico en el cual el lente incluye una región de adición progresiva y una óptica dinámica. La óptica dinámica y la región de adición progresiva están en comunicación óptica. La región de adición progresiva tiene una potencia adicional que es menor que la potencia adicional de distancia de visión cercana del usuario. La óptica dinámica, cuando se activa, proporciona la potencia óptica necesaria adicional para que el usuario vea claramente a una distancia cercana. Esta combinación conduce al resultado inesperado que no solo el usuario tiene la capacidad de ver más claramente a las distancias intermedia y cercana, sino que se reducen de manera significativa el nivel de astigmatismo indeseado, distorsión y limitación de visión.
