Abstract
Un método para difundir titanio y nitruro en un material de base que tiene una microestructura granular, generalmente compacta (por ejemplo carburo). El método incluye generalmente los pasos de proporcionar un material de base que tiene una microestructura granular, generalmente compacta; proporcionar un baño de sal que incluye dióxido de sodio y una sal seleccionada del grupo que consiste de cianato sódico y cianato potásico; dispersar el titanio metálico formado por electrólisis de un compuestos de titanio en el baño; calentar el baño de sal a una temperatura variando de alrededor de 430ºC a alrededor de 670ºC, y enjuagar el material de base en el baño de sal por un tiempo de desde alrededor de 10 minutos a alrededor de 24 horas.
