Abstract

A hand washing brush is described, said brush comprising: a hollow body containing a cleaning fluid; the hollow body comprises an upper wall which includes an air inlet and a bottom wall including an outlet for the cleaning fluid. In the brush, a plurality of bristles project downwards from the bottom wall; the brush also has a first valve which closes and opens the air inlet; and a second valve which closes and opens the fluid outlet. The valves are operated by a movable actuator with an "open" position and a "closed" position such that, when the actuator is moved into its "open" position, it causes the first and second valves to open the air inlet and outlet for the cleaning fluid so that the latter is supplied in metered amounts.
