Abstract

The invention relates to a garment fastener having a relatively-similar function to that of a standard belt. The inventive fastener is characterised in that it only acts on part of the waist of the garment, for example the fastener may be stretched between two garment straps, the fastening effect being completed by the rest of the garment at waist level. For said purpose, the invention comprises a central body (1) which consists of an ornamental element and which can be of any configuration, type or design. Two fastening or coupling elements (3), such as cords, are solidly connected to the ends of the aforementioned body and are passed through a pair of straps (4') on the garment, e.g. trousers (5), folded behind the central body (1) and fixed to one another by means of tying (6) or similar, such that the straps (4') are pulled and the trousers (5) are tightened around the user's body.

Description

GARMENT FOR CLOTHING CLOTHES OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention refers to a girdle device, intended to attach to the user's waist a garment, such as a pair of trousers, a skirt, a skirt, a jacket, etc., in order to conveniently stabilize said garment with respect to to the user's body.
The object of the invention is to ensure that the garment itself participates in the enclosure of the same, which gives the girdle itself a very wide range of design possibilities and practical use, fulfilling a double function, on the one hand the bra element for the item of clothing in question, and on the other as an aesthetic complement in the clothing of a person.
The invention is therefore in the field of accessories for clothing.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION When fastening a garment, especially if it is a lower garment, two different systems are known: the brace and the belt. The brace constitutes a means of restraint by suspension that is completely remote from the invention, while the belt acts as a belt that completely surrounds the waist of the user and closes on itself with the most varied systems of attachment.
The belt uses immovably, for its fixation to the garment, the classic loops existing in the latter, which conditions in a very considerable way its own configuration, which practically does not leave to the imagination of the designer more than the configuration of its buckle or closing element, since the body of the belt must be materialized in a strip of adequate width to be able to pass through said loops.
Before a design of the garment without belt loops, the belt can not be used, or at least can not be used as a fastener for the garment.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The girdle that the invention proposes solves in a fully satisfactory way the problems previously exposed, eliminating all the limitations that a conventional belt presents and based on a different functional philosophy, so that the girdle does not completely surround the user's waist, as it happens with the classic belts, but it affects it only partially, which can be minimal, the garment itself collaborating in its own tightening, as previously stated.
For this and more specifically the girdle is constituted by a central body, which is the support of the decorative development of the girdle, which can be mono or multi-piece and be obtained in any material deemed convenient, central body that can present any appropriate length, always lower than the perimeter of the user's waist, and that at their ends are extended in respective binding or hooking elements, which can be materialized in tapes, strings, strips, etc., preferably elastic and in any case flexible, able to pass easily through respective loops, being able to simply hook on said pair of loops or being able to fold on themselves passing under the central body, to tie each other after the latter, with the necessary tension to achieve the tightening effect, or closing one on the other by any other means.
From the above it is deduced that for the implantation of the girdle only two loops of the garment are necessary, between which the garment is to be girded or strangled on the user's waist, from which the following are derived consequences: The central body constituting the fundamental and seen element of the girdle can have any structure and configuration and, in addition, a width considerably greater than that of the belt loops of the garment.
The girdle can be established on the front area of the garment, on the rear area of the garment, or on one of its lateral areas with no more limitation than fixing to two more or less spaced belt loops.
The garment can incorporate exclusively two loops, properly located, or may even lack them, replacing them with holes that allow the passage of the elements of tying or hooking.
In any case, the effect achieved, instead of the classic perimeter strangulation of the belt on the wearer's waist, consists in bringing two loops or two points of said garment, more or less apart, to reduce the effective perimeter of the garment and get your proper adaptation to the body.
As for the closure of the girdle and as is evident, the aforementioned elements of tying or hooking, that is to say the tapes, ropes, loops, strips, etc., can be fixed at their ends by tying, but they can also be provided at said ends of any Conventional and appropriate closing system, such as magnets, Velero®, bar, elastic, buckle, etc.
Finally, the central body can be practical, that is, be divided into two halves, related to each other by means of any closure system, so that the tensioning and closing of the girdle is done through the central body itself.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical realization thereof, an assembly of drawings is included as an integral part of said description. With an illustrative and non-limiting character, the following has been represented: Figure 1 shows, according to a schematic representation in front elevation, a girdle for garments made according to the object of the present invention, next to which a garment to which it is applicable has been partially represented.
Figure 2 shows, also according to a front elevation view, the girdle of the previous figure properly mounted on the garment.
Figure 3 shows a representation similar to that of figure 2, but with a different design for the girdle.
Figure 4 shows a variant embodiment of the girdle in which the central body thereof is fragmented into two interengaging halves and in which different fastening means are used to the loops.
Figure 5 shows a assembly of the assembly represented in the previous figure.
Figure 6 shows a representation similar to Figure 1, but in which the existence of loops is not foreseen in the garment, but the girdle is fixed through holes appropriately located therein.
Figure 7 shows a assembly of the assembly represented in the previous figure.
Figure 8 shows a girdle similar to that of figure 3, which instead of being mounted on the front area of the trousers is on an antero-lateral area thereof.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In view of the figures shown, and in particular of figures 1 and 2, it can be seen how the girdle for garments that is advocated is constituted from a central body (1), as for example, and in this case with a length approximately half of the user's waist, and which will adapt to the anterior area of the same, as shown in Figure 2, said central body (1) ending in extreme hooks (2) for respective cords (3), intended to pass through the appropriate loops (4) of the trousers (5), and to fold back behind the rear face of the central body (1), fixing one another by means of a tether (6) that may remain hidden or be visible as in the case of figure 2.
In this practical embodiment, the belt loops (4) closest to the front opening thereof are inoperative, being able to indifferently pass through or through them the central body (1), and the fastening is done in the loops laterals (4 '), due to the size provided for the central body (1), but obviously when said central body is considerably shorter the anterior loops (4) will be used, as in the example of figure 3, where the size and The configuration of the central body (1) are totally different.
There is also provided the possibility, shown in figures 4 and 5, that the central body is fragmented into two parts (1-1 ') fixed together by any hooking system (7), and that said central body (lG) ) lacks laces (3) or any other binding element, incorporating the central body (1-1 ') itself lateral extensions and retracted on themselves (8) determinants of braided grooves (9) capable of engaging the loops ( 4) of the trousers, as shown in figure (5).
As previously mentioned, the loops (4) are not decisive, that is to say that the trousers or article of clothing in question may lack them, without this implying an obstacle to the use of the belt of the invention, since as shown in figures 6 and 7, the trouser or garment (5) can incorporate, in replacement of the loops (4), holes (10) for passage of the cords (3) or passage of the element of tying or coupling chosen in each case.
In this practical embodiment of figures 6 and 7 there is a central body (1) with a completely different design from previous cases, which shows that the girdle is an excellent scenario for decoration and aesthetics as well as fulfilling its function as a fastener.
Although in Figures 1 to 7 the girdle appears located on the front area of the dressing area, its position can change along the entire perimeter of the user's waist, as previously stated and as shown in the figure 8, where said girdle is established between two loops (4-4 ') of one of the sides of the trousers (5), and two loops of the rear area can also be used, leaving the central body also located in this area, without further limitation that the criterion of the user, which also supposes a great versatility of use for the girdle.
