Abstract

La presente invencion describe un sistema de codigo visual en donde se utilizan telefonos moviles equipados con camara (o dispositivos similares, tales como PDAs inalambricos) para identificar y decodificar imagenes que contienen uno o mas "codigos visuales". Al reconocer una etiqueta de codigo, el dispositivo puede determinar un patron de bits o un numero entero codificado en la etiqueta (el valor de codigo) el objeto etiquetado o el elemento de imagen, asi como parametros adicionales, tales como el angulo de vision de la camara. el reconocimiento del codigo se realiza en el dispositivo movil por si mismo. Cuando el dispositivo movil se equipa con un canal de comunicacion inalambrico, puede utilizarse para recuperar contenido en linea o para acceder a informacion en la Internet en base al codigo detectado y sus parametros. El contenido recuperado puede entonces presentarse en el dispositivo movil.
