Abstract
Las LMUs moviles pueden ser usadas en un sistema de localizacion inalambrica para proporcionar cobertura de deteccion en zonas que carecen de cobertura de recepcion adecuada. Las LMUs moviles pueden ser usadas para detectar las transmisiones de radio frecuencia (RF) de aparatos y dispositivos inalambricos en un periodo de tiempo para permitir la determinacion de su posicion. El tiempo, la posicion y la velocidad del LMU movil se calculan y transmiten a un SMLC junto con las transmisiones recibidas de dispositivos inalambricos. El SMLC analiza y resuelve el componente Doppler del dispositivo inalambrico compensando al mismo tiempo el componente Doppler de la LMU movil. La posicion y la velocidad del dispositivo inalambrico pueden ser comparadas con imagenes en tiempo real tomadas por la plataforma LMU movil para determinar exactamente la posicion del dispositivo inalambrico. Para mejorar la capacidad del LMU movil de detectar una senal de interes, que puede ser muy debil y/o estar corrompida por ruido, se puede emplear un proceso por el que las senales de baja potencia de terminales moviles son recibidas en lugares de recepcion y almacenadas en memoria. Entonces se recibe una replica mas potente de la SOI en un tiempo posterior de un controlador de red, o BTS, y esta se emplea para mejorar el procesado de correlacion de la SOI en memoria.
