Abstract

Se describe un alimentador de hojas (1) que cuenta con una tolva de apilamiento (9) para soportar una pila de hojas (8) y bandas de alimentacion (5, 6, 7) para avanzar la hoja mas inferior de la pila el cual es construido para mover por lo menos una de las bandas de alimentacion lateralmente hacia y alejandose de la otra de las bandas de alimentacion mientras las bandas estan siendo accionadas. Preferiblemente, las guias laterales (12, 13), se extienden sustancialmente hasta el extremo del alimentador, y se extienden ambos por arriba y por debajo de la superficie superior de las bandas a las cuales se encuentran adyacentes. Las bandas se extienden entre y alrededor de los ejes (25, 26) de un diametro uniforme a traves de la zona de alcance del movimiento lateral de las bandas. Los ejes se encuentran montados en cojinetes montados en una manera que pueden ser levantados hacia fuera para cambiar las bandas rapidamente y facilmente. El separador de hoja (30 31), montado de forma deslizable para posicionarse entre las bandas de alimentacion (5, 6, 7), son ajustables verticalmente para combar la hoja inferior para separar esa hoja de la pila (8).
