Abstract

A container closure (1) for mousing on a container (2) is disclosed, the container being of the type comprising a container body (4) In fluid communication with a bored container opening (8) for the delivery of liquid from the interior of the container (2). The ctasure (1) comprises m bored closure body (8) having a closure outlet (10) at one end and a closure intet (12) at the other end. The closure body (8) mounts a plurality of exterior ribs (14) for engagement with the Interior walls of the container opening (6). The closure (1) is particularly advantageous as it will prevent the entry of liquid or otter contaminants Into the container (2), in addition to enabling air to flow into the container (2) during drinking which will prevent the formation of a vacuum within the container.
