Abstract
Sistemas y metodos proporcionan un dispositivo de enfriamiento para un alto horno que pueda evitar que entre una cantidad excesiva de fluido refrigerante al alto horno y se pueda instalar facilmente en un alto horno convencional. El extremo del tubo de calor (202) que esta fuera del horno se puede configurar para interactuar con un disipador termico (210). El disipador termico (210) puede ser por ejemplo, una cantidad separada de fluido refrigerante que circula fuera del horno, un sistema de enfriamiento por evaporacion, y/o cualquier otro sistema o metodo de enfriamiento del tubo de calor (202) que transfiere calor desde el tubo de calor (202) al disipador termico (210). Debido a que el fluido refrigerante dentro del tubo de calor (202) se sella dentro del tubo de calor (202), solamente la cantidad pequena, fija de fluido refrigerante que esta dentro del tubo de calor (202) se introducira al horno si se rompiera la placa de enfriamiento (200). Asi, se pueden evitar un dano sustancial al horno, reparaciones extensas y/o periodos prolongados sin produccion.
