Abstract

Un aparato y un metodo para empalmar materiales de trama. El aparato comprende un primer rodillo presor (100), un segundo rodillo presor (200) y un rodillo adhesivo (420). El aparato comprende ademas un primer rodillo de bobinado (550) y un segundo rodillo de bobinado (500). El aparato comprende tambien un par de elementos cortantes de trama de entrada y un par de elementos cortantes de trama de salida. La primera y segunda tramas se reciben de suministros de trama corriente arriba. Una trama sigue a un paso posterior y la otra se enrolla en un rodillo de bobinado. Se aplica adhesivo a una trama a y las dos tramas junto con el adhesivo pasan entre los rodillos presores. Una trama se separa entre el suministro corriente arriba y el empalme, y la otra se separa entre el empalme y el rodillo de bobinado. El empalme puede seguir a un paso posterior.
