Abstract

Aqui se describen dispositivos y metodos para el tratamiento de condiciones y lesiones de la piel. Un aspecto de la invencion es un dispositivo portatil compacto, que puede emplearse seguramente por aquellos que sufren de condicion de la piel tales como acne, verrugas, aftas, piel mancada o arrugas finas. Los dispositivos agui descritos emplean la aplicacion de calor para tratamiento de condiciones y lesiones de la piel. Tipicamente, las temperaturas pico empleadas por los dispositivos de aproximadamente 70 grados C a aproximadamente 400 grados C, se logran por menos de aproximadamente 1 segundo, y mantienen por menos de aproximadamente 1 segundo. En algunas modalidades, la superficie de la piel se calienta con pulsos termicos. Conduccion termica transfiere calor desde el dispositivo a la piel y provoca una respuesta biologica que acelera la limpieza del acne, trata la piel manchada, comezon o arrugas finas. El calor total transferido es suficientemente bajo para evitar quemaduras.
