Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a almidón elaborable termoplasticamente caracterizado porque consta en lo esencial de una mezcla por lo menos casi homogenea de almidón y/o un derivado de almidón y por lo menos 5 por ciento de al menos un material aditivo, teniendo el material aditivo un parámetro de solubilidad mayor que 15 (cal 1/2 cm - 3/2) y disminuyendo la temperatura de fusión del almidón al mezclarse con este almidón, de tal modo que la temperatura de fusión del almidón, juntamente con el material aditivo, este situada por debajo de la temperatura de descomposición del almidón.
