Abstract
The invention relates to the pharmaceutical field, namely to a preparation from Tenebrio molitor larvae with antioxidant activity, a process for its preparation and a pharmaceutical product on its base.The preparation derived from the biomass of Tenebrio molitor larvae, according to the invention, comprises: lyophilized hydroalcoholic extract - 45…80% and vaseline oil - the rest, and manifests activity of inhibiting the peroxidation of lipoproteins IC50% of16 mg/ml and the nitroxide radical IC50% of20 mg/ml.The process for producing the preparation, according to the invention, consists in that Tenebrio molitor larvae are grown on an artificial nutrient medium, then are collected the last age larvae, are washed, disinfected with ultraviolet rays, frozen-thawed and homogenized. From the homogenized biomass is carried out the aqueous extraction for 60…90 min, followed by 70% ethanol extraction, the extracts are concentrated by vacuum evaporation, are combined, lyophilized and mixed with vaseline oil.The pharmaceutical product with antioxidant activity in the form of rectal suppositories comprises, per one suppository with the mass of 2 g: preparation derived from Tenebrio molitor larvae in vaseline oil - 0.25 g and semisynthetic glycerides - 1.75 g
