Abstract
The invention relates to processes for precious metal extraction from used parts, particularly to processes for palladium extraction from used catalysts.The process, according to the invention, includes milling of catalysts up to the particle dimension of 0.5...1.0 mm, with subsequent annealing of the charred fuel rests, the selective electrochemical extraction of palladium in the fresh solution of oxygenated chloric acid obtained by electrolysis of the 3...5% aqueous solution of sodium chloride at an anodic current density of 1...2 A/dm2 and a pH of 2.0...3.5, with addition of the hydrochloric acid, as well as of the potassium bichromate in a quantity of 1...3 g/L. As anode with a high voltage of oxygen evolution are used electrodes of titanium plated with ruthenium dioxide or of reinforced graphite, and extraction of palladium ions is carried out with subsequent adsorption on a cationite and washing with 5...7% solution of hydrochloric acid.The used solution after extraction is used for the repeated obtaining of the fresh solution of oxygenated chloric acids according to the claimed process.
