Abstract

Invenţia se referă la o metodă de determinare a domeniului normal de variaţie a echilibrului hidric, în special al probelor de lemn, în baza căreia se determină un şir de caracteristici care sunt utilizate în autentificarea şi studiile de compatibilitate a unor tratamente în operaţiile de punere în operă a lemnului nou sau a unor lucrări de prezervare activă şi restaurare a lemnului vechi.Metoda include prelevarea probelor de material, deshidratarea prealabilă a acestora la o umiditate atmosferică de cel mult 10% UR, până la o masă constantă, hidratarea ulterioară a probelor la o umiditate atmosferică de cel puţin 99%, până la o masă constantă, cu cântărirea periodică, după care urmează deshidratarea la aceleaşi condiţii (UR<10%) până la o masă constantă cu cântărire periodică, trasarea curbelor de hidratare şi deshidratare, conform datelor obţinute la cântărire, determinarea domeniului normal de variaţie a echilibrului hidric, care este cuprins între curbele menţionate.Rezultatul constă în delimitarea riguroasă a domeniului normal de variaţie a echilibrului hidric prin determinarea higroscopicităţii reversibile fiind utilizat un utilaj simplu, accesibil oricărui laborator, indiferent de dotare.
