Invenţia se referă la agricultură, în particular la un procedeu de tratare a seminţelor de ardei gras.Procedeul de tratare a seminţelor de ardei gras înainte de semănat include înmuierea lor timp de 10 ore în soluţie apoasă de 0,001% de glicozide furostanolice, obţinute din seminţe de Physalis leguminosae L. prin extragere cu metanol de 50%.
