Abstract

The invention relates to a process for identification of articles and may be used for marking the plastic, glass, board, paper, metal, wood articles, in particular parts of transport facilities.The process, according to the invention, is carried out by marking of an identification number, onto which is applied an information grid in the form of regular geometrical figures and blasting of its surface with an ultrahigh-speed gas jet with an amalgam of metallic or nonmetallic particles, which moves over the work surface in a random path, then the obtained image of the information grid is scanned and saved in the computer memory, and identification of the article is carried out by comparing the number and the article grid image with the pre-registered number and grid image.
