Abstract
The invention relates to the glass industry, in particular to processes for glass tinting by coating with solutions of colorants.The process for glass tinting includes coating of the glass with a solution obtained at dissolution of the colorants: cobalt(III) acetylacetonate C15H21O6Co, iron(III) acetylacetonate C15H21O6Fe, nickel(II) acetylacetonate C10H14O4Ni, vanadium(IV) acetylacetonate C10H14O4V, titanium(IV) bis-tris-acetylacetonate C10H42O12Ti3 and chromium(III) acetylacetonate C15H21O6Cr, separately or in the mixture in toluene or chlorobenzene, in the quantity of 1…100 g/L of solvent, which is applied onto the glass surface at the outlet from the melting furnace, at the temperature of 300…650°C, by pulverization from a distance of 10…50 cm from the glass surface.
