Abstract
The invention refers to the tobacco industry, namely, to the fermentation and may be used for production of tobacco having high resistance to the atmospheric factors.The process for tobacco piles treatment comprises heating of the raw material, packed in the piles up to 50…60°C at active ventilation, periodical cooling thereof up to 40…45°C and secondary heating up to 50…60° C at the relative air humidity of 65…75% up to the complete tobacco fermentation and the final cooling up to 25…30°C at the relative air humidity of 80…85%. Novelty of the invention consists in, that after the complete cooling, the tobacco piles are complementary subjected to the microwave radiation field activity during 3…5 min at the intensity of 150…350 W/kg of tobacco.The result consists in using the micrwave radiation at the end of fermantation when the tobacco is alrea dy stable to the high temperature that promotes improvement of the process quality and in the acceleration of obtaining the raw material for manufacturing of smoking articles.
