Introduction

Hi! Welcome to my personal worldbuilding site and kind of the center of my entire life. I've been working on Numbers since 2010, and though it's grown a bit unwieldy and chaotic, I hope you enjoy it anyways. This site isn't quite a full archive of the entire thing, but it's what's presentable.

The Misc section here is for OOC content, links, credits, that sort of thing.

Mascots

You've probably noticed some repeated characters around the site. Here they are, the (un)official mascots!

World Ambassdors

The "world ambassadors" are characters who are central to the current ongoing primary narrative of each World. While this does make them in essence "protagonists", much of Numbers shies away from this kind of narrative structure: every character is their own protagonist, with their own struggles, goals, motivations, and fears. While other characters' stories may intersect with those of the ambassadors, it is not a rigid rule that they must. The ambassadors feature stories and themes that are integral to their worlds, and provide a large network of characters, lore, and history that serve as good starting points for those interested in learning more.

The ambassadors are featured as side pagedolls in desktop versions of the Worlds page, but may randomly be replaced with a "B-side" character who has equal significance and influence on the narrative. These are as follows:

The older, seasonal footers featured Kolo and his husband, Dijamant. Below were all the thematic options:

Generic footer featuring the two hugging.
Halloween footer with Kolo in a nurse costume and Dij in an imp costume.
Winter footer with Dij and Kolo inside a snowy snowglobe, Kolo snuggled into Dij's side, Dij with a cup of hot cocoa.
Valentines' footer with Dij behind Kolo, holding his hands as they dance back-to-back.
Spring footer with Dij holding up an umbrella over himself and Kolo and using a spark of magic to amuse him.
Summer footer with Kolo bouncing a beachball while Dij looks on, holding a towel. Both are dressed in bathing suits.

    • ✓ Drawing any characters, animals, stories, etc. is fine noncommercially.
    • ✗ Please no NSFW/gore art. Suggestive is fine.
    • ✓ Making your own Numbers OCs is fine as long as you understand it isn't canon and use the same license.
    • ✓ Headcanons & shipping are fine as long as you understand it isn't canon.
    • ✗ Please do not draw my characters with non-Numbers characters.
  • Art, Writing, Creativity, Selling
    • ✓ You may repost my art or writing anywhere as long as it is clearly credited to this website.
    • ✗ Do not sell merchandise of Numbers media, concepts, lore, maps, my OCs, or of Numbers-related OCs.
    • ✓ Ordering one-off commissions of Numbers characters, worlds, stories, etc., is fine as long as the commissioned work will not be used commerically.
  • A Horse Behind the Screen
    • ✓ Feel free to contact me for art trades.
    • ✗ I do not do commissions, writing or drawing. Sorry!
    • ✓ Marvin or Kolo works for my name, and I exclusively use he/him. I prefer masculine titles (sir, mister) but feminine terms of endearment (wife).
    • ✗ Please don't assign a gender to me (that includes "genderless" or "agender").
    • ✗ Do not refer to anything on this site as "content", and do not call me a "content creator". I do not make "content" for "consumption" and you shouldn't, either.
