The lingo software so pathetic it's expensive CGM and it won't let you look at previous days doesn't work I hope Abbott Labs goes bankrupt... Shame on them for not fixing this problem after all this time. I really don't care if a product is FDA approved or not FDA is not looking out for us anyway

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! My Lingo failed, no one available to answer support. If you post hours, make sure someone is there to support on time!!!!
Don't waste your money!!!
I have worn the lingo for several months now, originally I would have given five stars how ever the last 4 in a row that I have bought have not worked. I bought one as usual from Walmart applied it as normal and it left the needle in the sensor in my arm, it then would not connect. I contacted support and they did send me a new one how ever even tho that one applied correctly it would not connect either 2 weeks later I bought another one. Once again applied correctly it would not connect. I purchased another one lol and behold would not connect. Today I purchased what will be my last one making the total of five in a row including the one they sent me. Once again needle stayed in sensor in my arm and keeps giving errors. Very disappointed I'm now 200 dollars in the hole. I'm a type two diabetic with controlled numbers and no medication so my insurance won't cover a normal cgm so I had been using this to have a general idea where my sugars were. Really wish lingo would get it figured out.

8 out of 10 lasted the full time
I have bought about 10 lingo CGMs. Of those 3 did not complete the 15 day period: 1 was 3 days short, the other two quit at 7 and 9 days into the monitoring. I like the concept. I am prediabetic, I compared it to my contour next and it is within parameters. I did get a hold of Lingo customer service, but they are only sending one replacement. Another issue that I have had is the tape doesn't last and offer additional tape at a cost, seriously, why? Send a alcohol wipe, and make the dressing better for the lingo sensor or provide additional support tape. As a prediabetic, I like the concept, but I don't understand why the insurance game. I would rather have Libre 3 plus. Two stars because Lingo, quits working early, and because I have to add extra tape.
Is this company a scam company?

Product stoped working after a couple of days.
The computer (presumably) then just sends out the same automated reply on contracting them several times.

A Total Legal Scam
A Total Legal Scam – Dexcom & Lingo Are Both Flooded With Defective Sensors
Do not waste your money on either of these over-the-counter devices. I have tried both, and they are both running a legal scam where they ship defective hardware and then completely ghost you when you try to get a replacement or refund.
I tried Dexcom right when it released, and it was absolute garbage. The sensors would only work for 1 to 5 days max before hitting massive errors. Their customer service team completely ghosts you, even if you manage to dig up and submit the correct serial numbers.
Because Dexcom was so bad, I switched to Abbott's Lingo. However, starting this year 2026, Lingo has completely broken down too. Every single sensor I have tried recently has stopped working properly, ending early within just 1 to 3 days. Not a single one of them lasts anywhere near the promised 14-day mark.
Suddenly a replacement link appears in the app this month. Even their "replacement promise" link is a total joke. The form explicitly forces you to answer: "Do you still have the biosensor available to return using a prepaid return kit?" It is a complete trap. If you say no because you threw away a used device that was already stuck into your skin and covered in blood, they can deny your claim. They literally expect you to harvest biohazardous waste off your own body and mail it back just to get the tracking days you already paid for.
Both Lingo and Dexcom have mobile apps that show your full device history, proving the sensors are erroring out or ending early. Yet, their online customer service forms demand a specific serial number that disappears from the app the moment the sensor dies. It is a complete trap. The serial number is printed on the physical BOX, so you are only lucky if you happen to keep the trash. But even if you save the box, type in the number, and successfully submit the form: THE GHOSTING STILL HAPPENS. Neither company replies to emails or app tickets.
They are both happy to take your money upfront, but the moment their cheap hardware fails, you are entirely on your own.
I ordered two devices both of them were…
I ordered two devices both of them were worst in terms of usage, readings and the accessibility. It is not compatible with many of the android devices which is a big set back. The readings are horrible. Shows around 50 to 80 points difference. I would never buy this again.
App okay, support not so
While I was reasonably happy with the data collection and ease of use of the lingo App, I have had several problems with the bio sensor. If there is a problem on a weekday the support is good but if at a weekend it isn’t. You cannot speak to a real person it’s all online which I loathe and with arthritis in my fingers it is quite a challenge for me.
Absolutely worthless product
Absolutely worthless product. Why? Because it’s horrendously unreliable, and can lead you to make wrong decisions with potentially disastrous results. If you’re using this product you absolutely must have and use a finger prick glucose meter to verify the lingo readings. What you’ll find out is that they’re insanely off, reading, in my case, 50-80 lower ALL THE TIME, as compared to a normal meter. And I use two different meters and the differences between the meters is usually about 10 high/low.
If I could give it a zero I would I…
If I could give it a zero I would I purchased this to be able to use it and I have not been able to get it to send me a code. I have done that numerous amount of times so I cannot even set it up. I’ve contacted their service area and nothing. What a horrible waste of money.

I am prediabetic and using Lingo glucose monitor for two months.
The Lingo count number is a bogus number...it doesn't make sense.
They assign numbers based on what? Who gives these numbers?
I will switch to a different glucose monitor.
For improvement they should add a feature of taking picture of the food and recognize it.

App not fit for purpose
I have previously used Dexcom and came to Lingo with enthusiasm now they have an android app. Unfortunately the app experience has been significantly disappointing in comparison.
Importantly, the usability issues I encountered could not have been assessed without opening and using the product. A CGM sensor cannot be evaluated through packaging alone - it requires wearing the sensor and using the app in real conditions. I had no reasonable opportunity to discover these problems before opening the sensor.
My first concern is with the points system. Your algorithm assigned points to aspects of my day as though something negative occurred - when in fact every way my body responded was healthy, expected, and well within normal range. The dawn phenomenon, gentle post-meal rises that returned promptly to baseline, and responses to low-impact exercise were all flagged negatively. At no point did my glucose exceed 7.8 mmol/L or rise by more than 1.7 mmol/L. For someone with a good understanding of blood sugar regulation, being penalised for normal physiology is demoralising and misleading, and risks causing unnecessary anxiety in users who don't have that knowledge.
My second concern is with the usability of the graph. The event markers for food and exercise obscure the curve rather than enhancing it. When you tap a marker, it does not show you what the event was - it simply takes you to that point on the graph. You then have to scroll down through all logged events, find the one whose time matches the marker, mentally note it, and scroll back up to the graph to cross-reference. This makes the core function of a CGM - understanding how food, exercise and lifestyle affect your glucose - unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.
There is no ability to zoom in on the graph, and no way to view event details and glucose data simultaneously. The interface feels as though it was released before it was ready for Android users.
As someone who has used Dexcom, I can say directly that this experience is significantly worse. I would like my money back.
You should not advertise 2 day delivery…
You should not advertise 2 day delivery if you cannot deliver. It doesn’t say except for holidays and weekends. I ordered a sensor on 5/22. It is now 5/26 and have not received it. When I called to check I was told that Monday was a holiday and ups was closed. They darn sure were not closed on Friday and Saturday. They didn’t hesitate to take the money instantly on Friday.
Sensors only work a few days
The first sensor came off in 3 1/2 days. The second sensor quit working less than 48 hours after application. Very poor quality.
Poor customer service and business acumen
Had purchased their 6 sensor subscription April 1 from their website, after trying 2 sensors purchased from Amazon. The Amazon sensors worked fine, the ones from Abbott themselves, not so much. Over the course of 6 weeks, 3 of the sensors did not monitor well, nor did 3 of the replacements. Just finished cancelling my subscription. They would not issue a pickup for the 3 sensor I still have. And customer service does not speak very good, or understandable English. Company not concerned about monitoring one’s health
My sensor keeps saying "signal loss"…
My sensor keeps saying "signal loss" and to turn off and then turn on Bluetooth. It says if that doesn't work, turn phone off and then on 5 minutes later. These did not work. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Lingo app Nothing but the same old. I emailed customer service with no luck. This is a big waste of money. I was hoping this app would work as well as the Freestyle Libre 3 plus app, made by the same company. No such luck. Lingo sucks.
I have bought 8 Lingo CSM and only 5…
I have bought 8 Lingo CSM and only 5 worked/stayed on. My latest purchase of 2 from Amazon only one even had the monitor in the sealed box. Trying to get a replacement is impossible with them asking waay too many questions and needing way too much proof. Probably a good option ruined by not standing by faulty ones.
