I purchased a Karoline White Snake Ring, advertised as 925 sterling silver, for £106.20.
The ring arrived five days ago and was worn on just three short occasions. It has already started losing its silver-coloured finish and is turning a copper colour.
I contacted customer services requesting a refund or replacement. They acknowledged that the ring “does not meet our quality expectations” and accepted it may have an individual quality issue.
Their initial proposal was that I could receive a replacement only if I paid a further $20 shipping fee, which they described as a “gesture of goodwill” and the “final resolution” for my order.
Following my complaint, they changed their position and offered either a replacement, a 40% store credit, a 50% partial refund if I kept the ring, or a full refund only if I paid to return what they have already accepted is a faulty item. They also suggested store credit to offset the return postage instead of covering the return costs directly.
In my view, this falls well short of the standards UK consumers should expect when a retailer acknowledges a product has a quality defect. Consumers have statutory rights when goods are faulty or not as described, and those rights are not replaced by goodwill offers, store credit or partial refunds.
I have now asked my credit card provider to investigate the matter and will be pursuing it formally and aggressively.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone in the UK to think carefully before purchasing from this retailer.

Als ich fragte, warum das Paket aus China kam, behaupteten sie einfach, dies sei eine Ausnahme, da es sich um neue Ware („new drops“) handele. Die Qualität war entsetzlich – ein Stein war herausgefallen, das Metall ist sehr leicht, und es kann auf keinen Fall vergoldetes Messing sein. Es handelt sich nicht um eigene Produkte, sondern um Fakeprodukte (auf meinem war ein nachgemachtes Swarowski-Logo, in der Warenbeschreibung stand davon nichts). Als ich es angemerkt habe, wurden die Schmuckstücke von der Homepage entfernt. Rückgabeoptionen sehr schlecht bis betrügerisch, selbst für kaputte Waren.

**** BUYER BEWARE *** This is not an UK company, they seem to be a USA website however their supplier is based elsewhere.
Although the item is reasonable quality, I decided I did not want to keep the product. This company do not offer refunds, only a gift voucher, their customer services seems to be an automated bot. I can’t get anywhere with my refund request, they offer a 20% refund if you keep the product, I ended up requesting this as I didn’t want their gift voucher however no refund has been forthcoming. When I try to contact their customer services via email I just receive the same automated response.
I WOULD NOT purchase anything from this company again!

Very disapointed with this necklace and whole experience buying this product. Bad quality and design. It does not lie flat so you do not see the colored stones only the gold backing. I was surprised to receive an email from FedEx asking for $15 import tax before they would release the item which was being sent from China and took forever to arrive. Good luck trying to return for a refund! They will only offer a credit for another one of their items. Horrible product, company and experience. Complete waste of money.

I bought the Géraldine Pink Marquise Ring. It is beautiful, but the color is not so pastel like in the photo. It’s a more “hot” pink. Secondly and most important, there is no stamp that’s silver. However, it’s a beautiful piece of jewelry.

Not worth the $
I don't feel like this ring is worth the money I paid for it. It is very lightweight and doesn't have any weight to it that a more quality ring would have. Also, I ordered a size 7 ring and it is much bigger so it just slides and turns all over my finger. I think it is also hard to keep in place because it is so lightweight. I would return it, but you only get store credit and have to pay the return shipping fees and they may deduct restocking fees. It's sad because I really wanted to like it. It did come in a nice box. I wish I could more easily exchange the size for a smaller one, then I'd probably be a bit happier with it.
