I ordered the lamb biryani from Dilpasand through Deliveroo. The restaurant has a £6 small takeaway biryani, but on Deliveroo it was listed at £15.99 with a Buy One Get One Free offer. Before ordering, I called the restaurant to confirm that the Deliveroo biryani was not the same as the £6 takeaway portion, and they assured me it wasn’t.

The order cost me £17.99 in total. When it arrived, I was very disappointed to find that it was exactly the same small takeaway portion. Even worse, once I opened it, it was obvious the biryani wasn’t fresh.

This all happened while I had guests at home, which made the experience even more embarrassing. I contacted Deliveroo customer support and spoke to Marwa, but I was simply told that nothing could be done and that I should contact the restaurant directly. As the order was placed through Deliveroo, I expected them to take some responsibility and help resolve the issue.

After this experience, I cancelled my Deliveroo Plus subscription and will be using other food delivery apps instead. The poor value, disappointing food quality, and lack of customer support have completely destroyed my trust in Deliveroo. Paying £17.99 for what turned out to be a £6 takeaway portion that wasn’t even fresh is simply unacceptable. Every time I see the Deliveroo logo now, it reminds me of this frustrating experience.

From good to diabolical—never going back!
​I’ve been here before with friends and liked it, but taking my family here was a huge mistake. The moment we sat down in the inside section, the whole place smelled like pee.
​To make matters worse, our poppadoms didn't even come with proper chutneys. Instead, they gave us this mystery red sauce in a tub so small it looked like a lip balm container. The meat curry was shockingly bad. On the bright side, the chicken jalfrezi and naan were actually very good, but the rest of the experience was so awful that it ruined the night. Don't waste your hard-earned money

Went there for the first time last night and loved the food. Asian tea was nice too , just didn’t like gulab jamun though

I had dinner last night along with my family at dilpasand. We ordered bihari kebab, chicken biryani and nihari with brain. I believe that the meal was both stale and contained excessive amount of tenderiser chemicals. We all have since been suffering from severely upset stomachs, mild fever and nausea. Please avoid!!!

I visited Dilpasand restaurant today. The good was mouthwatering delicious. I had Gola kebab with Lacha Paratha and Special Lamb Nehari with Kulcha Naan and Mixed Grill these dishes was recommended by the person took our order. The food was amazingly good and service was very good and staff is very friendly too. Cleanses of the restaurant overall is good. Highly recommended. I would visit again with family. A+++

Whao! Wonderful to see Dilpasand on Trustpilot. Undeniably, the best in entire London. I am a patron, every time a new and banging experience. Customer Service is on top. Their Gola Kebab, Behari Boti and Nihari is to die for. Brilliant food and customer service. Highly recommended!
