Our experience was awesome. It was very easy to put in a claim. Then the response was within 2 days. They covered an extremely large proportion of my dogs operation. Very surprising and very happy.

Trupanion from puppy to the end
Trupanion supported us with our dog’s healthcare from the beginning to the end of his life. Coverage was always clear with categories by diagnosis, and fair and prompt with claims and reimbursements. Support has always been caring and kind.
I have recommended them to all my friends with their companions.

Outstanding Communication and Administrative support
Communication with first contact was outstanding. Clarification and support minimized any stress with customer service representatives on the phone.
Administrative process is superb for any pet insurance that I have had till now. Exceptional timeliness with Trupanion and VCA Healthy Paws, Haymarket, Va in processing real time the claims occurring.
I will be doing a separate claim for Vet approved Rx from pharmacy and truly believe and trust Trupanion to continue positive support!

Not sure it is worth it
I have paid 1170 in 18 mos and I had to use it and I got 77 paid by Trupanion. Not sure it will work for me. I may start a savings with the same money I pay.

You promise that even when my puppy is…
You promise that even when my puppy is a full grown, 15 year old dog she'll be a puppy to you. Her coverage will not decrease with age.
I can't receive the form as proof of her being a SERVICE DOG, except by phone call guarantee and an unsigned letter with statement of the discount for her being a service dog. The documents do not state it anywhere.

Je cherchais une très bonne assurance pour mon Chien Rouge Chinois (rare!), je l'ai trouvé avec vous (Trupanion) en cherchant sur le web!👍
Moins de 100 Frs/mois, les 50 premiers Frs à notre charge et 90% de remboursé. J'aimerais bien avoir la même pour moi...!😅
Il y a un peu plus d'un an, suite à un accident en forêt en compagnie d'autres jeunes chiens avec lesquels il s'amusait, courant partout, faisant les fous, une branche lui est rentré dans l'oeil! Ses gémissements étaient terribles, nous avons pensé que son oeil, qui saignait, était crevé...!
Heureusement, il l'a retrouvé un oeil parfait, 1 an après, de même que sa vision, mais il a fallu 3 opérations !!!
Trupanion nous a très bien suivi👍
Aujourd'hui bientôt 2 ans, il est en grande forme et va passer les 50Kg.
Je profite de ce mot pour remercier Trupanion pour leurs services👍 et leur suivi👍, sans oublier la clinique VetSpécialistes de Genève.

I dont like trupanion
I dont like trupanion, you pray on people who love their animals and take advantage of them. I only have this service to keep the peace with my significant other, you have her fooled its a needed insurance. Claims consistently get denied, its a scam.

Great Coverage for Reasonable Cost
Trupanion has been there to assist with my dog's health needs and fair in their determination of what is covered under our policy. They have been prompt with their claim payments and asked for more details when required.
My dog has had more than her share of issues, and we have had their support all the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a pet. You never know when you will need it.

Give Your Companion the Best Life
We recently had to say goodbye to Dakota and were thankfull that the cost associated with her care was something we never had to consider.
Throughout her 11 years with us we had to face some expensive treatments with her last year being the most difficult.

I have nothing but good things to say…
I have nothing but good things to say about Trupanion. My oldest dog has been covered for 7 years. While we didn’t need it as often when he was younger, we still paid in and are using it more frequently as he gets older. Claims are reviewed and paid out extremely quickly. The coverage makes the decision between urgent care or waiting for a sick visit very easy.

Anytime you call they pick up quickly. The service has been amazing so far and every question I have asked has been answered in detail. I haven't used my insurance yet, but went through the pre approval process and it was so easy.
