Our experience with GOT Capital has been extremely disappointing.

We obtained business finance of £4,750. We were told that £7,800 was repayable, and we have already paid £3,227. We subsequently received a County Court judgment for £4,965.11, which we are currently applying to have set aside.

A major concern for us is that we have not been provided with a loan agreement setting out clearly the terms, interest and charges that form the basis of the amount being claimed. We also tried to make arrangements to pay them back and they took us to court behind our backs. This subsequently led to us obtaining a CCJ and loss of further opportunities. We are therefore challenging the amount claimed through the proper legal process.

Despite our application having been issued to the court, GOT Capital proceeded with enforcement of the judgment and instructed bailiffs, who attended our business premises to try and shut us down. They are deliberately acting without authority. We are sharing our experience so that other businesses considering finance from GOT Capital make sure they fully understand the repayment terms, interest and charges, and obtain a complete copy of all contractual documentation before proceeding.

Also understand what you are getting into or stay clear of them.

Unfortunately, the customer service has also been abysmal. We have found communication to be extremely disappointing, with our concerns and requests for clarification not being handled in a way we would expect from a financial company dealing with a business customer. This has made an already difficult situation considerably more stressful. We have had representatives scream down the phoneline and threaten.

We hope GOT Capital will address these concerns and provide greater transparency to business customers.

Quick and efficient and low doc funds within 48 hrs

Very poor service and communication.

I applied for funding jumped through all the hoops. After a few days no outcome ao emailed which was ignored. Another few days tried to call and nothing. After a week called again and left a message and eventually got an email saying the funding wasn’t possible. I wasn’t surprised but it’s also poor service. Im sure if I was accepted I’d have been bombarded with calls. A week and time taken to chase it up and then the response theh didnt even spell my name correctly. The whole thing was a farce. Gave me zero confidence regardless of the outcome

Awful service…

We set up daily payments and a couple were missed over the time - purely through funds in wrong accounts etc, however we asked for a statement to clear the whole thing we were given a value and date to pay, on the day of due payment we received multiple emails from Anil asking for specific times, to which each time we informed it was on the days pay run (as a small business 9-5 were focused on customers) all admin for us is competed once closing Anil didn’t quite….

We paid it that evening when doing all pay runs.

They continued to then claim unpaid direct debits (we had cancelled these knowing they’d try to take funds undue to them…)

We emailed repeatedly funnily enough Anil that had hounded with email after email asking for specific times didn’t reply.

Laughably today finally after chasing Anil confirms “As a goodwill gesture we will accept Fridays payment…”

I’m unsure how closing a statement balance on the confirmed date can be allowed as a goodwill gesture…

We wouldn’t recommended for a small business super heavy handed rates and interest are high if you do miss a direct debit you pay kindly for it too….

We referred to Got Capital by Excel Capital in connection with a short term funding requirement for £50,000.
