Amouage is an Omani perfume house, founded in 1983, that builds on Arabian perfume culture and its incense and resin heritage. The perfumes are composed by perfumers in Paris, Grasse, Geneva and New York, and most are made at the house's own Manufacture in Muscat. The Eau de Parfums here carry 20 to 30% perfume oil and are aged for several weeks.

Amouage was founded in the Sultanate of Oman in 1983. The house points to Oman's history as a trading centre for incense and myrrh and says Arabian perfume culture lies at the heart of every creation. Perfumers in Paris, Grasse, Geneva and New York compose for it, and most perfumes are made at its own Manufacture and Visitors' Centre in Muscat.
Concentration and ageing
The brand's own scale puts Eau de Parfum at 15 to 35% perfume oil and Extrait de Parfum at 40 to 56%. The Eau de Parfums listed here carry 20 to 30% and are aged for four to eight weeks, depending on the perfume. The Essences, such as Outlands, hold 30% and are infused for six months with sandalwood chips and with bioethanol aged in oak barrels.

A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
