hi there! Regarding the acquisition of reading proficiency, my only advice would be to begin with short stories, work your way to plays and then attempt shorter novels before moving on to longer ones. this is process is neither easy nor quick. If short stories are still too difficult, i'd suggest newspaper articles b/c the hindi there is more straightforward than literary. Good luck :)
