Rust Blaster is a vampire story, but a little bit different from others. The story begins with a happy school scene, but everything goes very different from what you'd expected. That's the point of this manga. It's disappointing the manga is only about 6 chapters. But, the mangaka actually connected story very well. When you read the story, you'll laugh, you'll get angry, sometimes be excited, and be sad.
Be sure to read 6 chapters at once.

ok so i read rustblaster because i saw it listed and like the cover(i simply love vampires).let me tell you that i dont regret it, i got hook from the begining the only dow side was how short it was. When i discover there were only six chapters i didnt though that i was gonna like it this much, a lot of the mangas that are this short dont really let you relate with the characters but this ones different, the plot was ok but i didnt really like the ending i think they could have done better, i keep founding holes in the plot,

Honestly, I love most vampire stories, but most of them seemed to be skewed more toward undeserving fan service or just complete disregard any original work about vampires. I'm open, though, to new ideas about strengths, weaknesses, and developing power(s).
When I first started reading, I was impressed and entertained by the artwork and the main male character's personality and style. The rest of the characters seemed like they were pulled out of a textbook for typical manga characters, nothing really special. The concept for the story is a weak one, but the difference between this and so many other vampire/magic manga is how the mangaka ... Jun 20, 2010
This manga was amazing in my opinion. I mean like, I almost cried at the end lol. It was wonderful, but I'm curious, because I don't know if the main character Aldred came back at the end, and that's why Kei stood up crying and ran up to him. All in all it was a great manga made by the person who made the manga and anime Black Butler. I don't like the fact that it includes demons... but hey, the manga was wonderful.
I just really wish the manga had a 2nd volume or a part two T_T great manga. Everyone who likes Vampires, ... May 22, 2015
Story: The plot in the manga was only semi-developed, I feel. There were a lot of things mentioned, but nothing really happened. For the first part of the manga, you KNEW crap was going down, but the main cast didn’t do much about it. There were also characters introduced in early chapters, but readers didn’t see any significance for them until the last few chapters. I thought that was a little irritating. Rust Blaster is also classified as a Shounen-ai, but it barely qualifies. There aren’t any actual scenes, unless you’re into the vampire eroticism.
I must say that the ideas are brimming with creativity, though. ... Jan 10, 2011
I first found this manga because I was looking up for more work from this author and I could not stop reading it! I really love the artwork and the main characters were very well done. I felt the main characters were likable and the story idea was pretty interesting. I'm a fan of vampire manga's but this ones story really interested me! Although it was very fast, I felt it still enjoyable and will continue to re read this! If you like the art style and the darker vampire story lines, you'll enjoy this manga!
