A gap is widening in Europe between large and small enterprises in AI adoption. While European companies are closing the gap with North America, this momentum is driven primarily by large organizations. Smaller companies risk being left behind due to a lack of data, skills, and adaptable processes. Baltic companies must use this moment wisely. AI adoption is moving beyond experimentation. Today, the real challenge is not access to AI technology. It is the ability to integrate AI into existing processes, systems, and business operations while ensuring security, governance, and compliance. This is particularly important in healthcare, defense, financial services, and critical infrastructure, where organizations handle large volumes of sensitive data. The question is not only whether an AI model performs well. Organizations must also consider where data resides, who can access it, how outputs are monitored, and how data leakage is prevented.
