Google API Services User Data

LUCI Desktop's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

LUCI Desktop integrates with Google Workspace services to provide AI-powered productivity features. The following Google user data is accessed solely to provide and improve the Service's core user-facing functionality:

• Google Calendar: Accessing, creating, modifying, and deleting calendar events to provide meeting preparation, scheduling, rescheduling, and reminder features within the Service;
• Gmail: Reading, searching, summarizing, drafting, sending, and managing emails on your behalf, solely when you initiate or direct email actions within the Service;
• Google Drive: Creating, uploading, downloading, organizing, moving, sharing, and deleting files and folders on your behalf, solely when you initiate or direct file operations within the Service;
• Google Docs: Creating, reading, and editing documents on your behalf, solely when you initiate or direct document operations within the Service;
• Google Sheets: Creating, reading, editing, and populating spreadsheets on your behalf, solely when you initiate or direct spreadsheet operations within the Service;
• Google Slides: Creating and editing presentations on your behalf, solely when you initiate or direct presentation operations within the Service;
• Google Account Profile: Using your name and email address for authentication and personalization of the Service.

All Google Workspace actions are performed only at the user's explicit direction through the Service's AI assistant interface. LUCI Desktop does not perform any actions on Google Workspace data autonomously or in the background without user initiation.

LUCI Desktop does not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing or improving the Service's user-facing features. Specifically, LUCI Desktop will not:

• Transfer Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable laws, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with prior user notice;
• Use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising;
• Use Google user data for training general-purpose AI or machine learning models that are not specific to providing or improving the Service for the individual user;
• Allow humans to read Google user data, unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific content, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or our use is limited to internal operations and the data has been aggregated and de-identified.

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service's core features, including meeting recording, transcription, AI coaching, Google Workspace automation, and productivity tools;
• To improve and optimize the Service's user-facing functionality;
• To personalize your experience within the Service;
• To communicate with you about the Service, including technical notices and support;
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data, including any data obtained from Google APIs, for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to providing or improving the Service.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Vendors and Service Providers: We may disclose information to vendors and service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, AI model providers) retained solely in connection with the provision of the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for providing services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share Google user data with third parties for purposes other than providing or improving the Service.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@memories.ai. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized or unlawful access, use, destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this page, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If we materially change the ways in which we use or share personal information previously collected from you through the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, via email or a prominent notice within the Service) and obtain your consent where required.
