Yining Li

I am a Research Scientist at Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and a member of the Intern Large Models team, where I lead research on agentic coding and LLM post-training. My work focuses on training-data pipelines and model fine-tuning for coding agents tackling software engineering and terminal tasks. I led coding post-training for Atria Dawn and co-led supervised fine-tuning for InternLM 2/2.5/3. I also work on autonomous AI R&D and serve as an adjunct Ph.D. supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

I received my Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Multimedia Lab (MMLab) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019, advised by Prof. Chen Change Loy and Prof. Xiaoou Tang, and my B.S. in Automation from Tsinghua University in 2014. Before joining Shanghai AI Lab, I was a Research Scientist at SenseTime from 2019 to 2021. I previously served as a core maintainer of OpenMMLab and led the development of MMPose.
