I am so grateful for Yadaphone since Skype was discontinued. For family who do not have WhatsAp, or Zoom this is the only other way I have to connect with them when I am out of the US.

Yadaphone works great with no complexities, perfect Skype replacement. Added $5 credit six months ago when needed to make some business calls while overseas. Only used a fraction of my credit and it's still sitting there waiting for me now, 6 months later. I needed a physical address to enter Yadaphone as a supplier for my business tax return and support was excellent. I got a reply email the next day with a detailed and thoughtful response. An actual person really read and thought about my question before replying. 😍 Thank you Denis.

I have been using Yadaphone since July 2025. This could be '4.9 stars' but I will give 5 because I am overall very pleased. Set-up was a bit difficult to begin with, and I raised the technical issues with Denis the developer and he was responsive. E.g. I wasn't able to get the microphone functionality to work, but it works fine now and I think that's been fixed for all users. It's still a bit raw, for example you can't sort Contacts into alphabetical order, and there's no visual confirmation you are in fact logged in. But fundamentally it is an excellent replacement for Skype for international calls and I firmly recommend.

It doesn’t allow me to call 1888 numbers. Consistently it says it’s calling and there is no sound to be heard on the other end.

Handy Application. For some reason call gets dropped if you leave the page incuring cost as well as having to start and wait for the reinstatement of the call.
Is there a fix for that?

I bought a US phone number so that people could call me. It worked once or twice and they still billed for those calls. Most of the time no incoming calls get through. People say the call drops after 1 ring. I never hear the call. Last week I called from my mobile and did hear it ring - but not today. I have high speed symmetrical internet - server issues are all at their end.

Outgoing calls - more or less ok but calls often cut out and some days I can't even make outgoing calls. It says 'application error'. Today I made 1 call. My second call I can't use the service.

Support: non-existent. They don't respond to emails.

This is yet another firm that cares about sign-ups and income without equivalent care for service quality.

Over a month to respond is surprising. On one occasion yes support did reply. Application errors occurred late April and since stopped. I have used your service for several weeks and made a large number of calls, ahead of a trip to the USA. Most of the outgoing calls were ok.

Incoming calls are an entirely different story. 99% never work and yes I had my browser tab open during USA hours. I never heard it ring. I did tell people to call manually and not use automated diallers. It made no difference. There were medical centres calling me (business to consumer use). What did work was receiving sms but I could not email replies. SMS can through as emails which was useful. Net-net yes I was happy with the service but not replying to sms by email and no incoming calls was inconvenient.

I found yadaphone by accident and used it for nearly life-saving issue today, I would rate it 10 out of 5!

Yadaphone worked fine for calls to the UAE, since normal methods simply aren’t allowed there. I didn’t have any problems setting it up or using it.

Although the UI is responsive and usable on iPhone, I’d like a better mobile experience.

Superb life saver for anyone who wants to stay in touch.
Clear transmission better than the old phones (that's going back a bit|)
Easy to use and easy to top up the credit when needed.
I have already recommended this service to a number of friends who miss the old cranky Skype.

Easy to set up and buy credit. Quality good and a fraction of the cost of using a landline or mobile to call a UK landline from New Zealand

The tool I needed, when I needed it. I'm an expat and needed to contact a bank in my home country, but the number was unavailable from my current location. A search on the net turned up Yadaphone, and Reddit seemed to be raving about it, so I took a chance and bought some minutes. I was on the phone to my bank within minutes, easily and cheaply. I will absolutely be using this over and over again.

Service is lagging a lot on my computer due to the extra trackers (and whatever those are). I found unauthorized transactions on my revolut card. I don't really use the virtual card anywhere else. It seems to have started after I used the website for the first time. Some of the transactions went through and that is concerning. I am pretty sure the card details are not stored securely.

We're overseas with limited options for US based call from US companies, as well as required SMS text. Absolutely thrilled with my experience and our ability to place US calls from overseas, and vice versa. With their recent upgrade by enabling to receive SMS this is a really phenomenally great service, I would highly recommend.

This is my first call and your recharge funds option did not work. After getting transferred from one person to another for 20 minutes and finally getting to someone I thought could help you ended my call because your system did not add the funds I authorized. Big time bummer when calling a foreign language country.

So disapointed that I could not reach Iran, but it might not be related to Yada...

The website is FULL of HIDDEN ADVERTISEMENTS and TRACKERS that CREATE A DIGITAL PROFILE of the visitor. No wonder that OTHER PEOPLE below REPORTED that ADS popped up and calls were interrupted because of ad blockers. If you USE an ad blocker you'll see that it goes crazy and number keeps INCREASING while you are using the website which is a huge red flag. I don't understand why Denis LIES about NOT having ADVERTS AND TRACKERS. I also noticed something really CREEPY that WHENEVER I MENTION A PRODUCT to someone while we on call, ads on other websites show me the product or similar products to buy. That alone is also A HUGE MONEY INCOME. The website does not respect privacy. Use it at your own risk.

A great and simple App that works.

Used to call an Irish number from Brazil for a much better rate than my local carrier.

Since the effective demise of Skype I have found Yada phone a suitable alternative. My only minor qualm is that I have to keep entering +44 to prefix my UK telephone calls. There seems no way to default it. I did write to cus svcs but never received a reply.
No problems at all using this facility and it saves me ££.
