Very smooth service, great cars, all
new, easy accessibility towards main roads to elche/alicante + convenient Shuttle service. Highly recommended (we booked through Wiber directly)

We had previously hired cars 4 times with Wiber with no issues so this time we decided to upgrade the car we were booking. We booked via DoYouSpain and have our own foreign excess insurance policy taken out in the UK. On picking the car up we took the normal photos and a video of any visible damage to the car. We only drove the car to our accommodation, parked it up and then back to Wiber for our return flight 5 days later. When we handed the keys back the customer service person went out to do the post inspection. Within 60 seconds they were back asking to see our pre inspection photos. We accompanied her out to the car for her to state that there was damage to the underside of the car on the front bumper. Unfortunately we hadn't taken any photos of the underside of the car as undercarriage damage is not normally visible to a customer during a standard pre-hire inspection. You could tell the scratches were old as they were smooth and not jagged as would be the case on new damage. We obviously disputed that we had caused the said damage but our pleas were just ignored and obviously because you're due at the airport for your return flight, which they know, you haven't got the time to fully contest the issue with them. They withheld 520 Euros from our deposit for this. Allegedly there is a car hire damage roulette scam where someone takes a car with the company's all-inclusive insurance package and damages it, but the company doesn't use their own insurance for the repairs. They then wait for someone to hire that same car on the basic rate and blame them for that damage when they return it. Now I am not stating that this is the case here but others who might want to hire through Wiber can decide for themselves. However I would definitely advise people to lie on the floor and take photos of the underneath of the car. In case anyone else hires the same car it was an Audi with registration 9392 NJF. We did send a complaint email to Wiber, on our return to the UK, asking for various bits of information and that we were not accepting liability. We have had no reply 17 days later and are currently taking legal steps via our credit card company to recover the amount taken.

Bij all inclusief geen extra kosten en geen borg wat we bij andere verhuurder wel altijd hebben gehad .
Blij dat we deze verhuurder hebben gevonden. En niet te vergeten vriendelijke medewerkers.

Abbiamo noleggiato un’auto per 12 gg (tariffa full). Ci hanno consegnato una Nissan Juke quasi nuova. Presente servizio navetta da e per l’aeroporto (tempo di attesa 5 minuti). Noi siamo rimasti soddisfatti del servizio.

Ho prenotato tramite Booking.
Il prezzo era vantaggioso e senza franchigia. Il ritiro dell'auto è stato semplice e veloce nonostante ci fosse molta gente. Veloce anche il reso dell'auto.
Mi hanno chiesto una cauzione per la benzina e appena consegnata la macchina me li hanno rimborsati.

Una experiencia intimidatoria y profundamente desagradable

Acabo de recoger un coche en Wiber y ha sido la peor experiencia que he tenido con una empresa de alquiler.
El traslado hasta la oficina fue correcto y el conductor fue amable. El problema comenzó en el mostrador, cuando la empleada intentó venderme de forma extremadamente agresiva la cobertura a todo riesgo.
Le dije claramente que no la quería y que prefería dejar la fianza de 1.000 euros.

Su respuesta fue preguntarme si no me importaba perder la fianza y utilizar expresiones como:

«Bueno, si nos quieres dar los 1.000 euros, pues perfecto».

Por el tono y la insistencia, la sensación era que, si no contrataba su cobertura, la empresa terminaría quedándose con ese dinero.
También generó una confusión enorme sobre el seguro. Yo preguntaba si el coche tenía seguro obligatorio o si Booking me estaba alquilando un vehículo sin seguro. En lugar de responder claramente que el coche ya estaba asegurado y que me estaban ofreciendo una cobertura adicional para reducir o eliminar la franquicia, mezclaba el seguro de Booking, el de Wiber y la fianza, aumentando todavía más el miedo.
La situación terminó con la empleada llamándome maleducado, negándose a continuar atendiéndome y pasando la gestión a otro trabajador.
Este segundo empleado fue bastante más conciliador. Revisamos juntos la cobertura a todo riesgo, pero suponía pagar unos 100 euros adicionales y le expliqué que no podía asumirlos. Aun así, tampoco recibí una explicación clara y directa sobre el seguro que ya tenía el vehículo. Cuando le comenté las palabras de su compañera sobre perder los 1.000 euros, dijo que no la había oído, aunque estaba justo al lado.
Tenía que marcharme a trabajar y no podía buscar otra empresa. Salí con tal miedo y desconfianza que hice cerca de 200 fotografías y varios vídeos del coche antes de moverlo.
Nunca había recogido un vehículo sintiendo que tenía que protegerme de la propia empresa que me lo alquilaba. Una experiencia intimidatoria, confusa y completamente inaceptable. No recomiendo Wiber.

Everything went smoothly and when giving the car back the proces was once again smooth.
