⚠️ My experience with MARIBELY — please be careful before ordering

I ordered a pair of jeans from MARIBELY on 7 June 2026. When they arrived, I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The quality was so poor that I didn’t even feel like trying them on.

I immediately requested a return in accordance with the 30-day free returns policy that was advertised on their website. They asked whether I wanted a different size, but I made it very clear that I did not want the jeans and wanted a full refund.

Instead of accepting the return, MARIBELY offered me a series of partial refunds — 10%, 20%, 25%, 30% and eventually 35%. I declined every offer because I wanted to return the jeans and receive a full refund.

They then told me I had to return the jeans to China. I reminded them of their advertised 30-day free returns policy, but they continued to refuse to provide the free return arrangement.

Fortunately, I had taken screenshots of their original return policy before it was removed.

I raised a dispute with my bank and provided the screenshots, emails and other evidence. MARIBELY challenged the dispute, claiming that I was refusing to return the jeans. They also provided my bank with a different return policy, which was not the policy I had agreed to when I purchased the jeans.

I challenged these inconsistencies and provided the evidence of the policy that was advertised at the time of my purchase.

In the end, my bank found in my favour and I received a full refund. 🙌🏾

My advice: take screenshots of the returns policy, product description and anything else important before purchasing. Keep all emails and correspondence if you have a problem.

This is not a UK company despite stating so.
They will not refund you on your purchase even tho it is ILLEGAL not too.
I threatened the company with the financial ombudsman- they deleted their whole website for three weeks.
Company promised me a refund, made me pay £30 shipping back to CHINA (even tho the company says it’s in the UK) I have now asked them if they have recieved my return, they have BLOCKED my email.
I’m having to go through my bank to get £230 back for dresses they won’t refund.
Dresses very cheap quality- Shein is better quality than these dresses.

These people just steal your money , DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
They are being investigated .
Still waiting for refund from June not a company at all ,

I ordered from Maribely because their website advertised 4–7 business day delivery. I ordered on 2 June, but my parcel didn’t arrive until 13 June, by which time it was no longer of any use.

Customer service only offered increasing partial refunds (10%, then 20%, then 25%) or a full refund if I paid to return the items to China, despite the delay being their fault. They also refused to provide a UK return address, even though their website states that most orders are shipped from a UK warehouse.

After my experience, I looked at other reviews and found many customers describing similar issues. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend ordering from them.

If I could give zero stars I would! They make it look like they’re selling high quality products from the UK and advertise 3-5 days for delivery of items, but actually it’s more like 3-5 weeks as the items are coming from China. The products are nothing like the images on the website and the quality is absolutely shockingly terrible! When asked to return for a full refund you have to email in and then they will say you need to ship the item to China at your cost or receive a partial refund

Really bad customer service I ordered a dress for my birthday it finally come over a month later .
When it arrived I was then on holiday so I could not return in the returns period,
We had been some what communicating in this and they had constantly said it would be on its way for over a month now the months over I’ve received the dress may I add in poor condition and now there no longer allowing me to return as it’s not in there returns policy,
But I waited over a month for there dress I would never ever buy from this place again and I will be letting others know

Worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Please read the reviews, you will never get your money back. Short story is I placed and order and every time I contacted them to find the order they lied about it being in delivery, a month later I filed a dispute and only then did they send the item. They pose as a uk brand, but they are based in China, and send cheap low quality crap that is a far cry from the pictures online. Then they won’t offer a refund and will only give you store credit. Overpriced cheap and a total scam.

I ordered 2 dresses for my birthday I placed the order on the 2nd of June as my birthday was the 13th and quick delivery was stated however it has been over a month and still haven’t received one of the dresses that cost £60 and upon contacting the company and 2 disputes they have stated they can’t resolve this as the item has been stated as delivered even though I have not received it . They have refunded £34. As for the dress I received it is cheap material and definitely not worth the money I definitely wouldn’t be ordering from this company again.

Was sold a faulty pair of jeans (has no hole for the button to go through!) asked for a returns slip to receive a refund and was told they are not faulty so I’m not entitled to a refund?! Absolute joke. Was then told ‘as a gesture of goodwill’ they will issue 40% store credit. Laughable

My items never arrived and they will not issue me a refund. Terrible customer service and there address they show online is for a corner shop. SCAM ARTISTS

I never leave reviews, but this experience has been so disappointing that I felt I had to warn others.

I ordered a pair of jeans because the website gave a very professional impression. I ordered my usual UK size 10, which has always fit me, but these jeans were far too small. They were also much shorter than expected, and the buttonhole hadn’t even been cut, making them faulty.

When I contacted customer service, I requested to return the jeans. Instead of providing a straightforward solution, I was repeatedly offered partial refunds (first 10%, then 40%) if I kept the faulty item. The only alternative offered was to return the jeans to a warehouse in China at my own expense in exchange for store credit rather than a refund.

Despite explaining several times that the jeans were faulty, I kept receiving essentially the same response with the same two options. In the end, I accepted the 40% partial refund simply because I was exhausted by the back-and-forth and felt that no genuine attempt was being made to find a more appropriate resolution.

The entire return process was far from the “easy 30-day return” advertised on the website. It was unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming.

I have ordered clothes online from many different retailers over the years, and this is by far the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I will definitely not be ordering from this company again, and based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this website.

COMPLETE SCAM!! I ordered 4 dresses from them and they took 3 weeks to arrive, even though they advertise “5-7 day delivery” at checkout.

When the dresses finally turned up, the quality was absolutely awful and they stank. The material was cheap nylon - nothing like the silk shown in the photos. The dresses were also completely different from what was advertised – the pictures showed zip-up dresses, but I received wrap-style dresses instead.

They claim to offer “free returns” all over their website, which is a complete lie. When I questioned the dresses I received and requested to return for a refund, they told me to read the fine print in their ‘returns policy’, which they then refused to share with me. In reality, they give you no choice but to pay to send the items back to China yourself and there’s no guarantee you’ll even get a full refund. Otherwise, they’ll keep your money and offer you just 20% back.

The 5-star reviews are all fake and everything on their website is a lie. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID THIS SCAM!!

I ordered a birthday dress, it was for next day dispatch however it came 10 days later. I messaged the company to chase the order and I explained that i will be travelling and may not be here to receive the order.
Item is delivered and left outside my front door whilst I was away. I did not receive the parcel however when i contacted them, they were dismissive and refused to help me further as the item has been marked as ‘delivered’. The told me to contact the courier however failed to provide me any details of the courier and tracking details and said they can no longer support. Broad day robbery!

I would honestly rate 1 star if I could. Dress arrived with dirty marks and cheap material. No underskirt, stitching was basically coming undone and it was borderline translucent. I contacted their support email immediately to request a refund as I was happy to send the item back, which on their website states that if the item is damaged (which it was, the chest area of the dress was dirty and I reiterated this in my email) they will cover the shipping cost. Of course however, they didn’t want to cover the shipping cost (as it was to be sent back to China) and instead tried to offer my 10% of a partial refund for an 80 pound dress that was unwearable. Back and forth clearly was getting nowhere with this “customer support” team, and even after acknowledging that the item was damaged, they still refused to cover my return shipping to China and insisted on a 25% partial refund and that they would “allow me to keep the dress as a gesture of goodwill”. Frankly, this is a burden, as I know no one who would want the dress in the condition it is, and to be honest I’d feel terrible even giving it to someone because of the quality. Absolutely disgusting service, horrible company and I’d recommend to stay far far away. Wish I read the reviews now before purchasing but I’ll consider it a lesson. Absolute scam.

NOT IN THE UK - AVOID BUYING FROM THEM. Not a UK based company, false advertising. Website makes you believe they’re in London until you have issues with the purchase, it is of very poor quality, not at all like the pictures! They ask you to keep the product for a partial refund because sending the item back to China is more expensive than the product! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - it’s a waste of your money!

First time ordering from them, the quality of the dress wasn’t great so I wanted to return. Their policy states 30 day free returns, email and they will send a returns label which I have and they initially said the free returns label is for defected items only so I’d have to pay for the return myself to china - it’s a UK company. I’ve sent them their own returns policy stating free returns and they’ve ignored this and offered a partial refund and keep the item to ‘save me the hassle of the return’. It’s gone from 10% to now 35%. I’ve now requested they pass me to their complaints team to raise a formal complaint and their response was to up it again!

I have made contact twice to request a return of dresses I ordered which did not fit. And took two weeks to arrive. I have no had any response! Leave me over £200 out of pocket. Do not order here.

I’ve been stung a few times before with not checking online brands return info - and been stuck with things that don’t fit and aren’t able to return. Or that do accept returns, but you need to post to China!

So I religiously check now. As I did before buying from Maribely LONDON. Which - with a name like that, you would automatically assume was based in the UK.

They claim to accept returns, and say to email to them ‘be provided with a return label’ so I assumed all was fine.

Dress arrived quickly (again - obviously has come from the UK) and was ridiculously short. I’m 5’3 - so if it doesn’t cover my bum I don’t know whose it’s covering. So I emailed to start my return.

I’ve been battling emails back and forth for a week. Because although they have UK warehouses they send the clothes from - if we want to return, we have to send it ourselves…. to China.

This is completely contradictory to what their website actually claims. So it’s false advertising and quite honestly - hoodwinking people out of money.

I don’t understand how their returns policy can clearly say one thing online - but they’re telling me something entirely different via email. And literally aren’t accepting any ownership and instead just responding to my emails with a copy and paste of their previous email.

So don’t waste your money on this corrupt brand.

Ordrred Trousers in my usual size XL, after a long wait they finally arrived but were so small I couldn't even get them over my hips. I have been offered a 20% partial refund or pay the postage to return them to China, even though the incorrect sizing is not my fault. Would not use this website again, complete rip off.

I was really disappointed with this dress. The material feels extremely cheap and nowhere near what I’d expect for the price. I honestly wouldn’t even pay £5 for it, let alone £50. It feels misleading and unfair to customers who expect better quality. I returned it immediately.
