Manamana Nihongo is an online Japanese school for adults who want to hold a real conversation in Japanese, not just pass a test. It's built for people learning around a full-time job who want to live in Japan or make Japanese friends. Manamana was founded by Joaquim. He studied Japanese the school way for two years and knew thousands of kanji, plenty of vocabulary and the grammar. Then his host mother picked him up at the airport in Japan and asked what he wanted to eat, and he froze. So he stopped treating Japanese like a school subject and started using it every day, making mistakes out loud. He now lives in Japan, and he's taught thousands of people on Instagram and over a hundred privately. Our method puts understanding first and rules later. You learn from Japanese you can actually understand, then you speak it with a native teacher who corrects you in real time. We use apps as dictionaries only. What we offer: - A free 30-minute trial call with one of our native teachers, Hikaru 先生 or Mayuka 先生, on Google Meet or Discord. - Zero to Nihongo, a free 28-day challenge for beginners, run in small groups. - One-to-one conversation calls with a native teacher, booked in your own timezone. - Our 24-week course, with a community of learners around it. - Free study guides and cheat sheets. After every class your teacher writes you a report with notes on what to work on next.もっと見る
