A great selection of high-quality green teas. Shipping from Japan is incredibly fast, and the customer service is attentive, friendly, and reliable.
We’ve been ordering from them for quite some time now (from Austria, where it’s difficult to find good green tea), and we’ve always had an excellent experience. Highly recommended!

Update: JJ Market was correct — my mistake for not checking my spam folder. However, I think better shipping options like EMS or DHL should be included as an option during the buying process. I know now to ask for it in the future. I've updated my rating to 3 stars as a neutral rating for now. I also apologize to the JJ employees for my mistake and for not checking again.
Old Review :
Not sure what's happening here, it's been 8 days, I order a lot of things in Japan shipping to USA and I usually have them in 5 days, not sure if that's Japan post fault which JJ Market uses but most other Tea houses offer EMS or DHL which JJ Market lacks, I have no idea where my order is ..I emailed them twice, zero customer service. hoping that the heat of the container or warehouse doesn't destroy the matcha I ordered

I’m very sorry for the frustration and concern caused by the delay.
Just to clarify, we did reply to your emails, so I’m sorry if our messages did not reach you properly. They may have gone to your spam or junk folder. We definitely did not ignore your messages.
Regarding the shipping method, this order was shipped with an economy shipping option in order to keep the shipping cost as low as possible for customers. Normally, shipments to the U.S. arrive within around 1–2 weeks, but delays can sometimes occur due to carrier processing or customs clearance.
We understand that waiting without clear updates is stressful, and I sincerely apologize for that. For future orders, especially larger or urgent shipments, we can discuss faster shipping options such as EMS or FedEx depending on the order size and destination.
As for the matcha, it is sealed properly for international shipping. While we recommend storing matcha in a cool place after arrival, the product should generally be fine as long as it remains unopened and sealed during transit.

Regarding the delay, it seems that shipments to North America are currently experiencing delays due to the World Cup. EMS shipments have also been delayed, so unfortunately, we believe the delivery would likely have taken some time regardless of the shipping method.

Very good matcha powders

A versatile matcha
Love how the matcha tins are properly packed and received it without any dents!
Yame No Mukashi’s has a rich green color!! No wonder it was awarded the Gold Prize in Paris. The first sip starts with vegetal notes, rich umami and finishes with gentle nutty notes. I can’t sense any bitterness but with has a tiny bit of astringency that you can’t really notice. Adding maple syrup intensified its nutty notes!

The matcha powder is QUALITY!
The matcha powder is delicious! Higher quality than a lot of other brands I’ve tried who market as “ceremonial”, I tried the Yame no Mukashi and that is now a staple in my daily morning matcha. Not too expensive either and tastes amazing whisked with oat milk! Can’t wait to try out more of the products. Also communications/shipping was very quick considering it’s international from the USA!

I tried the Kirishima matcha
I tried the Kirishima matcha, and I have to say it really surprised me. It’s super creamy, and the color is vivid and bright. I love it for my matcha lattes—I definitely feel confident recommending it. A very solid and interesting option!

Trying Wakokoro for the 1st time
I got 2 matcha tins from Wakokoro and so far I've opened Kirishima, I'm pleased with the premium quality and its bright green color, it's so frothy and creamy.
