Japanese Green Tea Hibiki-an レビュー

Sencha superior rip off

I mean seriously I've had better stuff off local Amazon for like a tenner. This place is highly overrated not to mention they delete negative reviews on their site. I bought their sencha supiour in the hope it would be excellent considering it's from kyoto and nope the cheaper Amazon stuff tastes better and doesn't give you horrific stomach ache.

I have been a customer since 2015 and have never left! They have always delivered speedily! Excellent communication when I inquire about anything! Excellent service with tea that I can trust. Thank you.

Ich bestelle seit Jahren und habe bislang keinen besseren gefunden, zuverlässig und excellente Qualität, mehr brauche ich nicht.

Just a word of warning to matcha buyers. My first experience with the company went smoothly and they seemed professional with a decent product. Recently, I decided to purchase again with a larger order. They shipped it to the wrong address, the city and zip code were wrong. As a result, the order was shipped back to hibiki-an as it was unreceivable. I created a paypal dispute for the item not received. The paypal dispute was closed in their favor as the item was still in transit back to hibikia. While I was disputing them, hibiki wrote me multiple emails threatening to call the local police and sue me unless I stopped the dispute, but I ignored them. After the dispute closed, hibiki is not replying to any of my emails and they got their product back. So I'm out $550, but i'm going to continue to try to dispute with paypal as they now have the order back.

Long term purchaser! 20 years plus. Having tried other brands, especially Gyokuro and Matcha, Hibiki are in my opinion the best. Their tea ware also superb! The packaging and delivery are also excellent.

I have been a customer with Hibiki-an for more than a decade, and I have only had amazing customer service, excellent teaware/teas and fast shipping. Competitively priced too. I can't recommend Hibiki-an enough! Support artisan vendors like this! 6/5

Package delivery was insanely fast! Especially coming from Ujitawara, Japan. Just less than 5 days (Bravo DHL)! Also, the cheapest shipping rate for a DHL carrier! compared to other Japanese store sites. Not to mention they package with care. Very informative site and they respond to email quickly. Their products and especially their Matchas are of high quality both in color (Vibrant green) and taste (Rich/bold/sweet aftertaste). Very fair pricing as well compared to other matchas sold here in the USA.

The taste of Japan, thank you for such amazing tea!

Worst Japanese tea seller ever.
Been a customer for many years. Every spring I check out fresh teas from a number of Japanese sellers, amongst them Hibiki An.
This year I didn't get my order and it turns out it was send to a wrong address - however that happened...
I contacted them many, many times over a few weeks and most of the time received what seemed like an automated (robot?) answer 'your order has been successfully delivered, thank you for your service..."
well, not to me at least....finally somebody answered to my friendly and factual mails by saying they ALWAYS answer directly NEVER thru a robot or automated system...??? And as He coud see that my order was delivered everything was ok. It was like talking to a wall....long story short, nver received my order, lost all my money and received NO customer service AT ALL! This is not what I normally experience from other Japanese tea sellers like Zencha.net for example. drinking Japanese green tea is an almost spiritual custom where scamming your clients out of their money has no place...shame on you...
Think carefully when buying from...you might not believe me but it could happen to you too...better to look elsewhere...

Beautiful deep emerald green, as it should be. This tea is amazing quality. Highly recommend!

A happy customer since 2007. Their tea is first class, as is their customer support.

I have been buying from Hibiki-an for several years now. Their standard Sencha and Gyokuro are excellent, I also treat myself to one or two seasonal products a year.

My passion for tea goes back 25 years and Hibiki-an established itself as my key supplier of exquisite Japanese tea. I hope to be buying from them for many years to come.

Amazing japanese tea, candy and confectiary. They also have lots of limited seasonal tea that you usually jsut get in Japan.
Always fast to ship your order and also fast respons if you contact them. They also provide detailed instruction on how to brew and store any kind of tea.
If you want authentic japanese tea, candy and tea ware this is the place to go.

Tea is of superior quality, will order from then again

Amazing and high quality tea, always beautifully wrapped. Fantastic service! Free shipping. I always buy my tea here.
