Anthony signed up through one of our Facebook advertisements last month for our Sequoia sweepstakes, specifically on 3/7/2026. The advertisement and our signup pages specifically state that the $12.95 is a monthly recurring charge associated with a membership; not a one-time purchase which can be made for merchandise in our store instead. We also have free methods of entry as stated in our official rules, which includes a mail-in option. We sent him a receipt email confirming his purchase as well as providing him login info for his new account, which he received on 3/7/26 but never opened according to our email marketing system. He also never reached out to our customer support team to specify any issues or attempt to login until submitting this negative review. We also run a new sweepstakes every 3 months; when a sweepstakes closes it takes ~10 days to tally the total entries and send them to Compliance Sweepstakes Services who drafts our rules and draws our winners for us. During that 10-day period of waiting for a winner, we start the next sweepstakes vehicle so any members renewing during that period don't miss out on any entries. Our livestream drawing adds to the legitimacy of our sweepstakes simply because you can look at ALL of our previous winners from our past sweepstakes and get their information to investigate yourself. Our winners would not want their name/face/likeliness on the internet unless they knew it was legitimate and that the prize they were accepting was real. We've cancelled Anthony's membership for him to ensure transparency as he was unable to figure out how to login with the receipt email he was provided.
