I have a YouTube channel where I talk about games made by small creators that can be finished during a lunch break. I've been having trouble finding SFW games that fit my channel's niche, so if anyone has a curated collection of SFW cozy/cute games public, please share, Id love to check it out!

Hello! Fellow artist and asset pack seller here. It looks like "cozy" farming packs do well (think Stardew Valley) but the market is pretty saturated so you'd need to do something to make your pack stand out

After a lot of work, the Dragon Asset Pack is now available for download! This cute pack includes assets of dragons with and without wings and in 12 different colors. This pack would be perfect for a playable character or as an NPC

Are you using A.I. to write your responses?

As an artist, I cannot morally support any project that uses A.I. generated images. But, this conversation has been had a thousand times over by people way more knowledgeable than I, so I'll leave it there 

Personally, I don't play any games that use AI. Others may not care as much, but that's why I'm not interested 

They can be good, and some people do play them, but they are in no way nearly as popular as other games.

Quick question, if you've already gone to every other forum and they didn't give you the answer you're looking for, why do you think a website for indie games will?

Make sure you're logged into your account and that your settings allow you to see adult content (its turned off automatically when you first create an account)

Currently working on the artwork for a puzzle game where you help your friend pack up. What else should go in her bedroom?

If you see that an art asset pack has been used for many other games, are you more or less likely to want to use the art for your own projects? Why or why not?

I've considered showcasing games that use my art, but I don't want to deter people from actually using it

If your aim is to build up the itch.io community and try to make connections that would naturally lead to other creators supporting your work, that's one thing. 

But blatantly only playing someone's game to get a play in return does not build authentic connections and will only ever be good for short-term growth that hurts your progress in the long term

This isn't the place for low effort advertising 

ngl, Undyne made me rage quit one or twice, but only because up to that point in Undertale, the fights were relatively chill

This is a concern that should be brought to admins attention through email, not a Discussion Forum. Also, you need proof that they are under 13 else this is just a "he said, she said" situation

I second Godot. The tutorials online are super helpful, you can make your first game in under an hour just following along with a YouTube video
