It would be so nice just to have some organizational tools for our libraries.

Does any one else find this an issue? Has Itch made any new fixes or additions in the last few years?

Im pretty intregued by this as this type of tool could do wonders for those in the Mario Kart Moding scene. Hopefully this might become a stand alone tool?

Is there any way to zoom in and out?

Thank you. If you have RPG Developer BAKIN you can use them there also.

Im sure this has happened to a lot of people.  You see a massive bundle you buy it because the discount there is a steal! Then you in few days, maybe a week or two. See another bundle  and get that one too.  Then you look in your library and see issue is there are one or two  or 20+ duplicates (especially if they're assets) in your purchased library.  Now what do you do? There is no button to hide, merge, or remove the duplicates in your library. Now another massive bundle comes a long, but you've aready got  several of what they're offering, but its still cheaper to buy the bundle than it is get what isnt in your library individually. Now what? Must you be subjected to sifting through copies of copies of things just to get to the new stuff mixed with the repeats?

There really needs to be a clear way to merge or hide or remove your duplicate copies of "Things you own", or preferably an automated function that merges or hides duplicates or does not add duplicates to you're library.

This is also a clear deterant from users making purchases

When removed will the price go down or stay the same?

This looks so perfect. Only one missed opportunity, For the console to be a PSX like games used to do in th 90s

Thank you! Please let me know if there are anything else I can do.

Fbx, For the models. The Terrain are PNG files

Why are the elves and the humans separated in different packs? Since their base is practically the same, why not put them in one pack like how the monsters are

These arnt modified RPGmaker tiles right? They look like a fusion of XP and MV tiles.

"despite my best attempts to want to make something original"

The ironic thing is that if you tweeked a few things you could covert this into a original game.
Call it "Black Moon Prophecy" Change the FF trademarked names, to original ones. And swap out the FF sprites for royalty free ones you can find here on itch. The TinyTales assets would solve that issue almost completely.
You have the bones of something truely original just covert it from it fan game form

I hate how good you are, I saw you pop into the asset space and knew your stuff would be top teir. I hope your sales are as exceptional as your works.

I must Ask, How well does this work with an Elgato Stream Deck?

As a visual mental case, I can't help but think that the cards in this game should be sticky notes.

Thanks so much for the Reply. I suppose that makes a lot of sense because I never see any N64 music packs just 8/16bit or "Epic" music. To me N64 has a distict sound but guess is because it was such a transitionary console no one really took stock of the N64 sound limitations. And I know when Modding music into N64 games (like Mario Party) you need to use Midi songs and everyone has long abanonded midi sounds... anyway here would be my suggestions:

  1. Super Mario 64,
  2. Mario Kart 64,
  3. Quest 64,
  4. Mario Party 3,
  5. Mario Tennis
  6. Star Fox 64,
  7. Smash Bros
  8. Castlevania
  9. Sin and Punishment,
  10. Bomberman 64/Hero,
  11. Golden Eye,
  12. Perfect Dark,
  13. Conker's Bad Fur Day/Banjo Kazooie/DonkeyKong 64
  14. Zelda OOT/Majora's Mask
  15. Rayman 2
  16. Pokemon Stadium 1/2

I hope this isn't over board, but these are the games I think of when some one says N64. I left out a few but these are like my essentials. Anyway thanks again.

After hearing this, Im legitimately waiting for the N64 style music pack

Made with GB studio?

Sick!

I wish I had commented on this when you had just droped this Gem like a month ago! After watching Streamers play this thing, I have a "notes" for the direction of this project if you'll consider them. (These are just my suggestions that I hope you'll look into)
1. Keep the Point A to Point B game style. At current Im really getting some Super Mario Land Vibes and it would be so cool see something like that.
2. When Putting down rules for generation and textures, Have Always generate 3 common levels (grassland, forest, mountain, beach, etc)  the 4th Generation will always be (castle textures, lava textures) the 5th level a bowers fight if possible. That way the game would mimic the #-1 to #-4
(1-1 to 1-4) Mario formula. It's a very cheep way to introduce illusion progression with out actually having progression
3. Dont hate me please, I know its unsocited advice from a rando, but it looks so cool  that I though to chime in and hope that you consider the idea if you havent thought of it yourself.

Oh no no no. Ignore Servers entirely. A P2P connection would be just fine! Hell, a Local Multiplayer set up would be just as good. (People could use parsec if they want to go online)

Will this game get Multiplayer? Even if its just a HotSeat Multi player.

I respect this, many people just type and dump their generations. I really respect that you go in and edit and make them presentable.
Now I'm just biding my time for when you make chest...

Once upon a time this software cost $40.00 but with every update the price increased. I wonder if it will happen again with this new update.

Any instructions on how to set up a game with friends for dummies like me?

All that's needed now is to get the "GET BONUS" voice from Blazing Star, to announce the weapons and Pickups like the Metal Slug Announcer Guy and I'm Sold!

Will there be a Smile Game Builder or a Game Developer Bakin versions, using the characters from those Smile Boom engines?

Player : "Its all Alunar?"
TobiasM : "Always has been"

Update? So your telling me there's a chance MIPS or C will be included. I sure hope so, I look forward to your updates!

(1 edit)

What language does this program output to? Does this have multiple outputs like C# MIPS and Python or is this just a visual scripting tool for only python?

Never thought of that, will consider!

Yes It is still being worked on.

This is pretty good! I wish there was a way to toggle grid on or off - and maybe an option to retype the seed

Sorry to invade this thread. But I think you should fix your page, I can easily lift your assets from the page and not pay you for them, and if i can do it I'm sure that there are ppl on here that will do it with no intention purchasing your work. Maybe tilt the 2nd and 3rd images in your page description as they can be taken whole sale. And reduce the resolution for all pics so they arn't as crisp pixel perfect. The pack looks like a lot of work went into it so i thought a heads up would be nice.

Yes you can, as long as you're using Smile Game Builder. The Asset+ set is tied to the Smile Game Builder License.
