i don't understand, did you get an error or something?

(1 edit)

I'll think about it when i update the game!

More levels ? Not only that.

It needs music and better visuals, and i have a few ideas for more mechanics.

YOU...
glad that you like the game, i'll continue working on it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments!

i have a friend who makes musics, but he wasn't available, so i didn't bother with it, would have been good to have tho.

Yea, i saw a few people finish a level and be like "wait, what did i do ?", if i continue working on the game, i'll do something so you can explore your solution fully.

Glad you like the game !

That's an interesting idea, if i continue working on the game, i may do that.

Also, i'm glad you like the game!

the idea was to have more levels to the game, but i got tired from puzzle making fairly fast, i'm glad on how it turned out and that you like it.

the game is amazing, like really. The only "bad" things i found are that the music gives me audio fatigue really fast, and you have the same range as the ennemies, so if you want to attack them, they basically can attack you the next turn and you can't do much about it.

also, i don't like that the camera moves when i just want to hover my cards, like yea i know my mouse cursor is near the edge of the screen, that's where my cards are!

but yeah, this comment may be seen as complaining, but the game is really good, especially for a jam game. Good job!

thanks!
the base idea was "minesweeper but you move the mines around so any number shown is a one"

Thanks!

That's amazing to do something at all, i Just made my first game with this jam, good job !

thanks!
yeah, the pieces types got a bit rushed in progression wise, i didn't really have the heart to make a lot of levels for a deeper player understanding of them, and level 30 was kind of a proof of concept at what a really hard level can be more than anything else.
Glad you like the game, a lot of people love the world select, i feel like gameplay inside the menus isn't as present in games as it's liked by the players.

the little hints were one of the last things done, so i made them a bit goofy.
glad you like the game

thanks! i'm glad you like it!

Yeah, i wondered how i'd make the transition to world 2 and 3 and the idea just hit me, a few other games make you play in the menus too

first thing i did is skip dialogue, expecting it to only pass the "text appearing" part of the dialogue, letting me read the whole thing as fast as  i wanted, but it just skipped the dialogue entirely.

great game tho, i like it.

simple, eficient, fun.

if you want a "low effort addition" to make the game more fun i'd advise adding a few sounds when the player moves, grabs and pushes the boxes, trust me it takes not long to do and it makes a lot for a game like this.

thanks! that means a lot.

even if you don't make it in time to add stuff, your game is already pretty good!

the idea is interesting, i am a ghost but i can't go over potted plants and a few other things, that's an anomaly i'd say.

cute game, i won but i don't really get how, and the game has phone controls only, since i'm on pc it took me time to understand that

simple, good, all i like from these kinds of games!

i'd totally see more levels and more game mechanics like wormholes that teleport bullets

ricochet has something like a 5% chance to be totally unpredictible, makes it a bit frustrating.

I like the game either way, if i have to guess it's a prevention against softlocks or something like that.

unfortulately, i got hypersensitivity to some kinds of sounds, i couldn't stand the eating sound.

i can't tell if the game is good or not because of that.

that's cool! each level has a twist that makes it all different, i like it!

it's like a merge between baba is you and the server fixing math minigame in voices of the void, i like it!

this was the best ride of my life, one day/10 is the note i give it.

this game isn't much but it's nice to have it, that's one of the more creative interpretations of the theme i saw, keep thinking outside the box, i love it!

this is a game, maybe adding something like upgrades could help, i had frustration playing this game, it takes time to use the keys and finishing a level is met with only the same thing but it takes twice as long.

getting more sprites for the keys could help too maybe

i like it!

i don't really get the part where you get downgrades when finishing levels, or upgrades maybe? i got a chainsaw that i didn't understant and a ball that divided my speed, making the sprint an absolute necesity.

love this one, it got a lot of good elements to it, simple visuals that reminded me of the game SNKRX, i'm a fan.

this reminds me of a lot small games i used to play when bored with friends :D

but i don't have friends to play with right now D:

When i made player 1 and 2 collide just from walking into eachother, player 2 won every time, it wasn't a tie, felt a bit weird to me.

interesting game, maybe a bit of loot balancing could help, i didn't understand that getting silver drop upgrades made it so i basically only drop silver where almost all upgrade i saw costed bronze.
took a bit of time to really understand it, but was great.

this game made me understand the weakness of my flesh.

It has been made clear to my very eyes that i don't breakfast the way the universe intended me to.

you have to put the cereal first; that fact is undelyable now that i see the truth through this sugar rush.

my mind is sugar, my blood is sugar, i breathe sugar, my milk is composed of 23513564654 g/L of sugar, i have in me enough sugar to power a small city, and this only from a month of eating SUGAR!!!

jokes aside, i really like this game, it's simple and addictive because big number goes BRRRRRRRR, and the fact that your spoon gets BEEG is funny to me.

Thanks!

I like your game too.

cool little game, i like it!

(1 edit)

i like this game, it's interesting.
the game is good, but here is a bit of feedback:

the text is a bit hard to read because the game is so pixellized.

i did 5 runs, didn't find any way to heal damage, which becomes in my opinion necessary after the purple boss because the boss and purple ennemies go as fast or faster than you, making them collide with the player easily.

Another thing i didn't understand is that i could get upgrades for nodes that i don't have, when your run starts with a shop that has shotgun upgrades, you are forced to spend money to reroll, and can't upgrade your DPS right away.

Maybe having a boss health bar somewhere would help, and getting something for beating them, like maybe a choice between a boss themed node and money, something like that, other than an increase in game difficulty

I think it'd be good to have more time to collect the money, it disappears too fast for a game where you basically can't heal, it's so fast that when you have more than 3 ennemies in front of you, you can't collect the money from them, that'd mean launching yourself at them and taking damage. Also, money can disappear as it's being pulled at me, moving while getting money often mean that you don't get any money.

I hope you won't take this comment harshly, it's mostly suggestions to make the game more enjoyable/satisfying, if you think about it, you can find as the gamedev the game easy because you playtest it all the time.

edit: just found out that when i upgrade my guns enough, most of them don't work anymore, having 15 gun nodes that don't shoot because only one does makes me wonder if i really took upgrades, or if i concentrated my power to a single gun node
