The Mother Tongue Game Jam celebrates the thousands of languages spoken worldwide and the efforts of heritage language speakers to pass on their mother tongues. By submitting to this jam, you agree to add your game to the Mother Tongue Charity Bundle supporting endangered language revitalization. The bundle will run from late January to late February.

Requirements

1. All types of games are welcome: TTRPGs and other physical games, video games, zines, whatever your heart desires.
2. Games should relate to the theme of language, ideally with a focus on linguistic diversity and/or language revitalization.
3. Games should have some new content during the jam period—even simple updates like expansion packs and makeovers are welcome!
4. No bigoted or NSFW content.
5. If your game is paid, I will need a free copy to ensure it meets the guidelines above.
6. Games in any language are welcome, but I will need to ensure they meet the guidelines above.
