Echoes of the Past
What does this mean? As usual, I have no idea! But consider how everything leaves a trace, and how sounds, actions, or memories affect the world. Concepts like repeating patterns, time delays, or consequences that linger are all echoes, right?
Anyway, now that the theme is announced, it's time to get started on your game! Here are some quotes to help get you started thinking about the theme:

What's Flowjam & Flowlab?
Flowjam is a fun & beginner-friendly gamejam / competition event where everyone gets a limited time (two weeks) to create a complete game from start to finish using the Flowlab game engine, based on a Theme.
If you haven't used Flowlab before, it's super easy to get started, you can sign up for a free account here and start making games without code!

🎮 Why should I participate?
Making games is fun! Also, this is a chance to challenge yourself to try new ideas, improve your skills, and possibly win a Steam Deck :)
👥 Who can enter?
Anyone, from anywhere! Feel free to collaborate and help each other, but only one prize will be awarded. Ensure you have an itch.io account and press the big "Join jam" button on this page!
Entrants outside the U.S. will be responsible for any Customs or other fees incurred when receiving the physical Prize.
📜 The Rules
- Don't create your game until the theme is announced! - on December 27th, 2025 - the game creation time is listed under each game.
- Your game can include any art or music you have legal permission to use, but anything not created by you during the jam should be listed in the game's description.
- Submissions will be closed on January 10th, 2026.
- All entrants can vote on the game submissions to select the winner, and Grazer will have the final say on the official winner in case of a tie.
- Only games created using Flowlab can be submitted.
- No purchase necessary - free accounts are welcome and encouraged to submit games!
Judging Criteria
Developers who submit a game will rate the entries from other participants!
- Creativity : How unique are the graphics, the mechanics, and the overall design
- Art : How does the game look and sound
- Fun : How fun the game is to play
- Theme: How well the game adhered to and used the theme
Don't forget to submit your games, and make them playable on the browser! 🌍🎮
You can use the "HTML File" share option by clicking the share button, under each game, to embed the game on Itch.io!
