Tata Neu apparently redid their home page for the umpteenth time. It still loads slower than a tortoise though 😉. And the super app has quietly started its pivot into a finance app, though it currently has finance + Croma + bigbasket. Once they both independently raise funds, I’m speculating that the Neu would become pure play finance, which it should have been originally. When I played a small part of the Neu journey, most of us always contemplated what’s the app doing, who is our customer, what’s our audience demographic etc. I guess the new leaders are having a little bit more clarity of thought on what the vision should be.

Excited to announce that Razorpay is now embedded directly into Replit’s build flow. Rolling out in beta, Replit will go live with Razorpay’s Payments Suite, allowing Indian users to pay, receive payments & monetise apps via familiar methods like UPI and cards. From building something on Replit to receiving a payment for it, that gap doesn’t exist anymore. Proud to partner with Amjad Masad, Jeff Burke and Replit on this. Bengaluru-based wealthtech startup PowerUp Money has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, with Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures, and DeVC participating. The funding comes just six months after its $7.2 million seed round. Founded in 2024 by Prateek Jindal, PowerUp Money is a SEBI-registered, zero-commission mutual fund advisory platform that charges users a subscription instead of earning distributor commissions. The capital will be used to strengthen research and advisory capabilities, scale paid products, and invest in financial literacy. In eight months, the platform has onboarded over 500,000 users and tracks more than Rs 65,000 crore in assets. Its flagship product, PowerUp Elite (Rs 999/year), has 25,000+ paid members. Last 48 hours = pure debugging madness. Our app was randomly failing. Auth breaking. API calls timing out. Edge functions not responding. At first, we thought: Supabase outage? SSL issue? Region latency problem? Nope. Turns out : if a user is on Jio all *.supabase.co domains are resolving to a Jio-owned IP (49.44.79.236) instead of AWS. Which basically means: Your Supabase backend is unreachable. Not slow. Not degraded. Just… dead. What’s wild: supabase.com loads fine App works perfectly on Airtel / Vi Works instantly on VPN Only supabase.co (project API domains) are affected nslookup → wrong IP curl → timeout traceroute → dies inside Reliance network This isn’t a project bug. This isn’t a code bug. This isn’t even a Supabase bug. It looks like DNS-level blocking inside Jio’s network. If you're building for India, this is scary. Because you won’t see a crash. You’ll just see: Drop in signups OTP failures Random API errors Users ghosting mid-flow And you’ll assume it’s your funnel. Given how big Jio’s user base is, this could impact a massive chunk of Indian traffic without founders even realizing it. and to save your time I believe that Jio appears to be DNS-poisoning *.supabase.co to a sinkhole IP and Changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 alone did not help us. Guys please suggest Temporary workarounds: Except using VPN as cloudflare and Proton vpn didnot work as well for me. If you’re using Supabase and targeting Indian users, please test your app specifically on Jio broadband + Jio mobile data. This kind of infra issue is the worst kind ,silent and invisible. We’re not ready.” — 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 “𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮-𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁” One is strategic. One is avoidance disguised as strategy. ↳ Strategic: Building for extreme constraints creates innovation that scales ↳ Avoidance: Labeling difficult markets as “training” while dodging markets requiring different capabilities — 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 #𝟭: Constraint-driven innovation works.
