I'm happy to add new tools, and the information below explains how you can help.
ImgOps only links to tools that accept the URL of an image.
Here is an example:
https://www.google.com/searchbyimage?client=app&image_url=https://editgif.com/cat-and-dog.jpg
In the example, the critical part is "image_url=https://editgif.com/cat-and-dog.jpg".
If you can provide a good image tool URL similar to the example above, please submit it here.
If you don't know how, please ask the owner of the other website, and send them to this page.
One last thing! If you know a tool URL, you can also add it instantly for your own personal private use here: https://imgops.com/customize.
If a user is interested in adding your image or photo tool to ImgOps.com, please read the following.
To add your tool, please provide an image submission URL similar to this example:
https://www.YOUR-WEBSITE.com/app?image_url=https://example.com/photo.jpg
To add your tool or ask any questions, please contact me via https://imgops.com/contact
ImgOps only links to image tools on third-party websites which accept an image as a URL parameter, but...
Accepting an image URL can be separate from processing the image.
There's no requirement that your website instantly processes the image associated with the URL. The parameter can simply pre-fill a form on your site with the URL. The user can then be required to submit the form or request the action as a separate step.
This lets users skip the step of copying and pasting the URL. Best of all, it lets ImgOps send users directly to your online image tool or photo app.
Of course, you can also add additional protections to your form, such as form keys and CAPTCHA.
In this way, you have not opened up your server to abuse, but you have let ImgOps send users to your site!
One last thing. Please note that ImgOps does not directly interact with third-party servers via an API, neither as a client nor as a service. It primarily sends users directly to third-party sites, in addition to a small number of self-hosted tools. Therefore, API keys must not be part of the submission process. ImgOps is also not an image host. Any image uploaded by visitors is hosted in a short-term cache and purged from the server completely after a few hours.
