The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance for the multiport configuration of the Anovo® Surgical System, making Anovo the first robotic platform capable of supporting all three surgical approaches on a single flexible robotic platform: ✅ Natural Orifice Surgery ✅ Single-Port Surgery ✅ Multiport Surgery This is far more than another regulatory milestone—it represents a fundamental shift in how robotic surgery can be delivered. For the first time, surgeons have the flexibility to choose the optimal surgical approach for each patient without requiring multiple robotic systems. Hospitals and ASCs can now offer greater capabilities with a single compact platform, while benefiting from a smaller footprint, simplified workflow, and a compelling economic model. Our proprietary flexible robotic architecture—with internally articulated shoulder-, elbow-, and wrist-like instruments—continues to challenge the limitations of conventional robotic systems by delivering true 360° dexterity while minimizing external robotic arm movement. Dvir Cohen har gillat dettaDvir Cohen har gillat dettaOn Sunday night, I had the incredible honor of crossing the finish line at Ironman Cozumel—a journey that pushed my limits and reshaped my perspective on perseverance, dedication, and growth. The path to this moment demanded months (or maybe years) of rigorous training, countless early mornings, and more than a few weekends away from my family. As I reflect on this accomplishment, I can’t help but see the deep parallels between this journey and the work we do every day. Whether it’s completing a triathlon or leading a challenging project, success requires setting ambitious goals, staying focused, refusing to say “impossible,” and never losing sight of the finish line. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me throughout this journey. A special thank you to Jorge for lending me his amazing bike, and to Ali, Tim, Ansley, Allison, Ed, Jeff, Elmer, Wendy, Ishmael, Chris, Andres and everyone who encouraged me, wished me luck before the race, and checked on me afterward. A huge thanks to Joe for being such an understanding and supportive boss, patient on all the days I came to work tired. To the best team ever, Mike and Ariel, who took care of every task and left no question unanswered while I was away—thank you for your incredible support. Bpreven is developing AI-based solutions for early detection, prevention, and personalized support for individuals at emotional risk. Their platform combines smart questionnaires, real-time insights, and adaptive AI-driven conversations to help organizations, communities, and care professionals identify emotional distress earlier and respond in a precise and effective way. As part of the collaboration, Bpreven is preparing for a joint study in the rehabilitation department, examining the impact of their solution in a clinical environment and strengthening the connection between technological innovation and hands-on medical practice. 9:00 a.m., and the day looks different at Ichilov , Tel Aviv Medical Center, with four surgeries across four operating rooms, each involving the implantation of patient-specific 3D-printed implants. each with its own team, its own challenge, and its own life-changing goal. 🟦 OR A: Facial feminization surgery using patient-specific planning 🟦 OR B: Customized 3D-printed cranial implant for a young patient 🟦 OR C: Orthopedic oncology- resection of a large pelvic tumor followed by reconstruction with a titanium printed implant 🟦 OR D: Orthopedic foot & ankle- removing the talus bone and replacing it with a patient-specific 3D-printed titanium talus Over the past month, our Innovation Center teams have been working alongside the surgeons: analyzing each case, validating materials, refining the digital models, and supporting intraoperative decisions.
