The program has it's pros and cons. If you have no other choice it's worth doing. Keep in mind that you are very much paying for their services. Also read the terms very clearly. While most of the time the banks will negotiate with them it isnt a guarantee. Also your credit score will take a hit. That's just the way it is but if you stay with the program it will climb.

I'm happy the program was there and at the time I am happy I could do it.
